"The Reality of Medical College: A Mix of Learning, Stress, and Limited Fun"

What I Liked

College have good infrastructure, big campus and attached hospital for clinical practice.
Faculty is experienced, some teachers explain very well, but some just read slides.
Sports and extracurricular activities happen, but due to busy schedule, less participation.
Overall, college is good for learning, but medical life is very hectic.

What I didn’t like

Study pressure is too much, no proper time for relax.
Some faculty just read PPT, not explain properly.
Exam stress is very high, viva questions are unexpected.
Library books mostly taken by other students, less availability.

Placement Experience:

In medical field, campus placement not provided. After BHMS, we have to find job ourself or start own clinic. Many students do internship in hospitals, then work in private clinics, research centers, or pharma companies. Some prepare for higher studies like MD in Homeopathy or other medical fields. No recruiters visit campus because medical students mostly go for private practice or government jobs. Salary depend on experience, private clinic earnings also vary. Starting salary in hospitals or companies is low, but with experience it increase. After degree, I plan to gain experience in good hospital, then maybe start my own clinic.

Internships Opportunities:

I have not opted for a internship because I am in 1st year. Internship only start after final year when we complete all exams. In our college, internship is compulsory for one year in attached hospital. Internship mainly focus on practical training, handling patients, case taking, prescribing medicines under senior guidance. Some private hospitals and pharma companies also offer internship, but mostly students do in college hospital. Stipend is very low or sometimes not given, depend on college policy. Tasks include patient diagnosis, writing case history, assisting in treatments. Some students also do research projects, but mostly focus on clinical practice.

What I Liked

our college has in campus girls hostel and has great accomadation
the faculty is great and interactive. students can easily approach them.

What I didn’t like

the college has only one fest that is a so called fest that is annual day
the college never takes students on industrial visits or any kind of education trips.
the college is not great at organizing academic competitions.

Placement Experience:

no placements or job opportunities are provided by the college. students have to search for internships themselves. the program is great so will do great in finding a suitable job after getting the degree.

Internships Opportunities:

yes, I have done two internships. the college occasionally provides information about internship vacancy on the notice board. you have to find internship yourself the best part is there are no strict rules about attendance.

What I Liked

The campus is green. And well maintained trees . Different colleges and departments are there in same campus so its diverse
The xerox is cheap , very cheap . It is a protected area .

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is awful . They need to work on law school's infrastructure .
Roads inside the campus , no food available . There are no good place to seat and eat peacefully

Placement Experience:

There are no placements offered . However the keep forwarding the refference for internship purpose. The placements are nowhere near to these clg . And in law profession there are no placements offered most of the times.

Internships Opportunities:

I have opted for internship with my self hunt .. the clg doesn't provide it from their end . The intership opportunities provided by the clg is posted in clg group or is pasted at the board of the college .

What I Liked

I like the campus as it has canteen, stationary shops, gym, library and gardens.
Faculty is great and students can easily approach them for any queries. Professors are young and great to interact with.

What I didn’t like

The college fails to conduct competitions
The college plans a industrial visit and fails to actually implement such educational trips.

Placement Experience:

No placement no internship. Occasionally if theres a vacancy it's displayed on the notice board of the college. In short the college does not provide law students with any placements or internship The students need to find internship and job themselves.

Internships Opportunities:

No I didn't got internship from college. I found it myself through LinkedIn. Generally legal internships for 1st 2nd year students is unpaid with no stipend. In short there are no internship opportunities from college.

SNDT University as a good law College

What I Liked

I like the interest structure the colleges pretty big it has 9 to 10 floors on each building different colleges are running into the same building and the law colleges also pretty good and take they have a good facilities of lift and
Faculties are great many of the faculties are advocates themselves and their also person LLM from the same college or another branch of SNDT University

What I didn’t like

Sometimes lips are not working but it is absolutely fine due to some maintenance it is disturbed but it's all fine it gets fixed quickly
The canteen should maintain a little bit more hygiene I feel this

Placement Experience:

The internships and placement facilities are pretty good every students almost gets plays in good forms and internships are also provided to each and every student if they are active into the college internships for cities are Pret

Internships Opportunities:

I have not yet done any internships from the college so I am not available that but as heard from my seniors each and every one of them got placed or got internships in good firms and under good advocate

What I Liked

I love everything about my college the infrastructure the faculty campus teachers canteen food!
Also I love the behaviour of teachers towards students they don’t make us feel insulted

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure the chairs tables and desks
Also I don’t like that’s it’s only a girls college such advantages should be given to boys as well

Placement Experience:

The college itself provides placement and job opportunities the highest package was given in a government-based organisation for almost 1 lac per month. The college gives opportunities in its university as well for the jobs of teachers.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I’ve not opted for any internship. But I’ve heard of intern Shala sponsoring with my college for other events also the college hosts free food every day for students and staff there are many other activities carried out!

What I Liked

Safety measures are really good I would say this is the best thing that this college provides that they make sure thegirls are safe they also provide special campus manager who make sure that once the goals are out of the college campus out of the gate they make sure that no guys stands near the gate and troubles any girl.
Professor highly supportive they make sure that you crack your exams and score well. Also they gave you various assignments and task various presentations and activities that helps you in build your communication skills they notes are provided by the professors itself it's one of the best thing because there are many college that do not give you notes you have to get your own notes but but here professor gives you there own notes and it's actually quite easy and makes you score more.

What I didn’t like

I'm cleanness I would say the not clean washroom properly the canteen foods are worst I mean you should provide according to the price. Food qualities is worst in this college
I feel courses piece are quite high and that makes it unfordable for other students who have week financial background it also makes difficult for girls to study more because of journally parents think that they cannot spend the amount on girl child example BMS has 30000/- fees per year approx while Bafi has 40000/- fees. It is difficult for parents to pay such large amount the in these both departments are self finance

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for places are you must have graduated if you want a job but if you want to intern there are no criteria it depends from department to department for example if you are in the BMS department you are liable for your HOD. Dep on how your HD gets a recruiter in your department I would say placement opportunities are very less and the average package I don't think gives you more than three lack of the 4 lakh package

Internships Opportunities:

I would say internship opportunities given by this college are nice I mean I have cotton I would say internship opportunities given by this college are nice. Many friends of mine have got internship opportunities the many of the students have got opportunities unpaid Internships.

Affair and not over exaggerated review of my College

What I Liked

The thing which I like most about my college is my college campus, my college teachers, and they like mentor to us

What I didn’t like

The first thing I just like about my college is my college is canteen. They are like not so good. I got back to other colleges canteen.
The second thing I dislike about my College, the most dislike thing about my colleges, college washrooms. Those are so dirty, so unclean, and so like smelly, you can’t even think of going inside that.

Placement Experience:

Affinity provides lots of placement opportunities, but I have seen many students avoid going to Plus going for placements whenever placements come, so that’s the student drawback because our college provides lots of opportunities for placements and also internship opportunities are provided.

Internships Opportunities:

I have opted for an internship given by our teacher during my MCom part one right now only I have completed my part one and during that period I got into an internship at Antarang Foundation, which was suggested and arranged by my academic head.

What I Liked

Faculty: In sndt the teachers are really understanding and friendly and makes tough topics easy to understand.
Infrastructure: the infrastructure is really nice.

Placement Experience:

During the orientation teachers gave us information about internships and job placements offered by many companies after BCA I will pursue a master's which is MCA to gain more knowledge about computers and programming language and increase my skills.
