Monad University Courses and Fees

More than 100 programmes cover engineering, architecture, pharmacy, hotel management, law, management, media, education, agriculture, sciences and arts. BA and B.Com have relatively low fees, while the total B.Tech fee is INR 6.04 Lakhs. The table gives total programme fees, course lengths and entry requirements.

The 7 B.Tech streams are Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Chemical and Agricultural Engineering. MBA students choose from Marketing, Finance, Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT), International Business and Retail Management.

BHM is one of the university's larger professional programmes and has close links with hospitality employers in Delhi NCR. Drawing, painting and applied arts form part of BFA. Shorter professional study options also include the pharmacy and fashion design diplomas.

Monad University Admission Process

Course choice determines whether admission uses qualifying examination marks or an entrance score. Applications can be made online through the university portal or directly at the Hapur campus. For current availability and course-specific closing dates, students can contact 1800-102-0455.

The entrance routes and minimum qualifications for the 2026-27 admission cycle are listed below. PCM means Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; PCB means Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

B.Tech Selection Steps

Applicants need at least 45% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The accepted tests are JEE Main, CUET UG and the Monad University Entrance Test, also called MU Entrance. Selection proceeds through these stages:

• Complete the online university application and enter the entrance examination score.
• Check the merit list issued by Monad University.
• Attend counselling at the Hapur campus for branch allocation.
• Have the documents verified and pay the required fee.

Computer Science and Engineering attracts the greatest demand among B.Tech streams and is the university's most popular programme. Agricultural Engineering combines engineering study with agricultural technology, an option that sets Monad apart from most private engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

Entry to B.Arch

Students applying for architecture need 10+2 Mathematics with at least 50%, together with a NATA or JEE Paper 2 score. NATA stands for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture. Council of Architecture (COA) rules apply to both the programme and its approved intake.

Entry to Pharmacy Courses

For B.Pharm, the qualifying subjects must be PCB or PCM, with a minimum of 45% in 10+2. NEET, CUET and MU Entrance scores are accepted. The 2-year D.Pharm course also has a merit-based admission route. A B.Pharm degree is needed for M.Pharm in either Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacology.

Entry to Law Courses

The integrated BALLB and BBALLB degrees each run for 5 years. Applicants may come from any Class 12 stream, but need at least 45% and admission through CLAT, CUET or MU Entrance. Graduates from any subject can seek entry to the 3-year LLB through CLAT PG, CUET PG or MU Entrance. LLM applicants must hold an LLB degree.

Management, Media, Fine Arts, Education and Hospitality Admissions

To enter MBA, students must have a graduation degree with 50% and use CAT, MAT, CMAT, CUET PG or MU Entrance scores. BBA, BJMC and BFA allow direct selection using Class 12 merit, without a compulsory entrance examination.

B.Ed applicants need 50% in graduation; CTET or MU Entrance is accepted. BHM selection uses Class 12 merit through CUET or a direct application.

Monad University Placements

A central Placement Cell connects students with employers in Delhi NCR and elsewhere in India. Engineering, hotel management and management students account for the main groups benefiting from campus recruitment. Across graduating batches, the university reports a 72% placement rate, with average annual packages of INR 3 to 5 LPA for most programme groups.

Access to Delhi NCR gives engineering and management graduates a broad choice of employers. BHM graduates take up roles with hotels and hospitality groups in Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon. For architecture students, regional construction companies and urban planning departments provide placement opportunities.

Law graduates move into district court litigation, judicial services or in-house legal work in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi NCR. B.Pharm graduates work with retail pharmacy chains, medicine manufacturers and hospital pharmacies. Those completing M.Pharm or a Ph.D often seek pharmaceutical research and regulatory roles, which involve work on rules governing medicines.

Monad University Campus and Infrastructure

On National Highway 9, the Delhi-Moradabad route, Monad University's Hapur campus covers 58 acres and lies 60 km from Delhi. Separate academic buildings serve engineering, architecture, pharmacy, hotel management, law, management and science. Students have access to a central library with digital resources, computer and science laboratories, an auditorium, gymnasium, sports facilities and cafeteria.

Engineering facilities include subject laboratories for computing, electronics, civil engineering and mechanical engineering. Drug analysis and pharmaceutical laboratories in the pharmacy block have PCI approval. Architecture students use design studios and a model workshop. The central auditorium accommodates events and placement activities, while an outdoor amphitheatre provides space for student activities.

Road travel takes 1.5 hours from Delhi and 45 minutes from Ghaziabad. Local transport connects Hapur town to the campus in under 20 minutes. NH-9 and the Delhi-Meerut Expressway support daily travel from Ghaziabad, Meerut and Hapur. Many students commute because Ghaziabad and Delhi are nearby.

Monad University Scholarships

First-year students should apply within 60 days of beginning their course to support timely payment. Monad University, IFTM University and Invertis University Comparison

Students considering private universities with several subject areas in western and central Uttar Pradesh often compare Monad University in Hapur, IFTM University in Moradabad and Invertis University in Bareilly. All three have UGC recognition and were established within the 2009 to 2012 period. Engineering, management and pharmacy are common areas of study across these universities.

Being closer to Delhi NCR gives Monad an advantage over more distant Uttar Pradesh peers in accessing IT, consumer goods, hospitality and construction employers. Its COA-approved B.Arch and BHM courses also suit students seeking options that are not available at every comparable university.

IFTM has a larger campus and a longer operating history, particularly in pharmacy and B.Ed. For students from the Bareilly-Pilibhit-Rampur region, Invertis is often the preferred choice because travelling to Hapur is less convenient. Engineering admissions at all three use JEE Main and CUET, and their fee structures are comparable.
