• The British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) has accredited the program.
  • The program's goal is to prepare nurses to work with people on an individual, family, group, and community basis while maintaining a compassionate attitude and a focus on health promotion.
  • Students will benefit from the program by learning to be sensitive to people's experiences with health and healing in a range of contexts and throughout their lives. The ability to collaborate with patients and other healthcare professionals will be taught to the students. Graduates will actively contribute to achieving health for all through their comprehension of and involvement in the evolving health care system.
