MA Economics offers a wide range of opportunities in civil services, teaching, banking and financial sectors, government planning, etc. The curriculum was also set to this objective. You have to prepare for seminars every semester and also for an individual dissertation for the final semester
There are no opportunities for placement and internship proving for MA Economics which I feel is one of the drawbacks of the entire curriculum. This needs improvement so that students are trained in such a manner that they are assured with a job.
Read Full ReviewI chose this college because I got admission in sports quota and I also like the subject biotechnology. We have 6 sem exams we want to complete 2 sets in one year. Exams are somehow quite tough maybe because it is a career-related course. There only a small amount of fees is required for exams because it's a government college. We can assure many scholarships and fee conception such as E GRANTZ, HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP etc..
Placement is based on exams only there is no campus placement. The college doesn't provide any campus selection. We will only get a degree certificate from college after we can use it for higher education or apply for any jobs.
Read Full ReviewI choose this course because of the good academic support.Due to less number of students they provide good classes. But exams are conducted according to university no other exams are conducted as assessment. If you have will to study on your own teachers provide good support. Scholarships are available for students for fees (egrants ) so we could get back the fees paid and you will get other government scholarships including single child (girl) scholarship.
We get a graduation certificate from the university.Only some government programs like cdisc of government approached the students through our teacher. No other college placements or internships are there. No students will get placements. After degree most of the students went to post graduation in various fields inside physics field such as Space physics, Electronics main etc
