Short overview of hislop college.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good and also furnished were has campus life has given gear up for the student friendly college.

What I didn’t like

Canteen was the one at our time which was not good now it has changed.

Placement Experience:

Should have graduated with 75 percent overall. For the placement cell other renowned faculties and person from varies companies and organisations used to take the students. As soon I was passed my 12th I have given clat for the law degree.

Internships Opportunities:

No. I haven't opted for the internship.As I was a law student my all internship went through courts and firms. My internship got me through my pratical experience at the moot court and enabling it through the courts.

Hislop College, An Overview

What I Liked

The main factor for me choosing this college over other colleges nearby was the campus Life which is great
The infrastructure of the college is better than most of the colleges in the city and provide a good environment to the students to study and excell in their endeavours

What I didn’t like

The thing I dislike about the college is its crowd , the crowd is mostly from state board schools and act like uneducated vandals who will pass comments on every one and every thing, being a reputed college you wouldn't expect such crowd in this college which i didn't too but I only found out after going to the college
The second thing which I don't like about my college is the timing , the classes start from as early as 8 o Clock in the morning and end around 12 in the noon , waking up soo early in the morning is a hassle and makes most of the students skip the first lecture If you ever attended the first lecture you'll get to see the class is completely empty and only 5-6 students out of 198 attend the lecture

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement and internship cell which is established to help students get placed into suitable job positions according to their course Companies like TCS , Accenture, Cognizant, ETC visit the college every year for hiring freshers from the college The highest packege a company has offered i believe is around 12lpa

Internships Opportunities:

I have not opted for any internship from my college as I want to pursue chartered accountancy so I'll be being an article under a firm in that field , bcom is just a side course for me which is a backup option

The Hislop Campus

What I Liked

I like the vibe , environment, faculty of this college
The societies made in this college is very good to socialize here

What I didn’t like

There is no Boys common room here like Girls common room
Also the campus is not that big but overall environmet is good

Placement Experience:

Placement is near to nothing in this college , no companies offer the job here for the students neither recruitment occurs here but over all personality development is done for me but for job you have to give competitive exams
