One Time But Great Experience

What I Liked

The classrooms is very clean and big which is nice
Campus is big and the environment is also beautiful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our faculty is excellent they all are good and very good in nature and supportive too. They are too good and always there for us to provide notes of the subject and also teaches us again and again if we didn't understand anything

Remarks:

The campus of the college is pretty good and the faculty is excellent so this made me to choose the college. The teaching style and the environment of the college is also the factor which makes me to choose

Short overview of hislop college.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good and also furnished were has campus life has given gear up for the student friendly college.

What I didn’t like

Canteen was the one at our time which was not good now it has changed.

Placement Experience:

Should have graduated with 75 percent overall. For the placement cell other renowned faculties and person from varies companies and organisations used to take the students. As soon I was passed my 12th I have given clat for the law degree.

Remarks:

I was a arts person. I took the course which helped me with my further studies. My interest has brought me to go through this course. It helped me through the discussion with other senior student and also the parents.

Hislop College, An Overview

What I Liked

The main factor for me choosing this college over other colleges nearby was the campus Life which is great
The infrastructure of the college is better than most of the colleges in the city and provide a good environment to the students to study and excell in their endeavours

What I didn’t like

The thing I dislike about the college is its crowd , the crowd is mostly from state board schools and act like uneducated vandals who will pass comments on every one and every thing, being a reputed college you wouldn't expect such crowd in this college which i didn't too but I only found out after going to the college
The second thing which I don't like about my college is the timing , the classes start from as early as 8 o Clock in the morning and end around 12 in the noon , waking up soo early in the morning is a hassle and makes most of the students skip the first lecture If you ever attended the first lecture you'll get to see the class is completely empty and only 5-6 students out of 198 attend the lecture

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement and internship cell which is established to help students get placed into suitable job positions according to their course Companies like TCS , Accenture, Cognizant, ETC visit the college every year for hiring freshers from the college The highest packege a company has offered i believe is around 12lpa

Remarks:

Getting admitted into this college was not a problem at all because I had scored above 80% in my 12th CBSE board exams and the admissions are done on merit basis , there is no other phases to the admission you only need to register and pay a minimal fees for the application then if you are in the merit list you can pay the admission fees and get admitted into the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is excellent having proper knowledge and skilful work to perform for students. The student's Academics are excellent and have proper management. The faculty is skilful and knowledgeable and provide the best and correct knowledge to students on how to handle problems and clarify the solutions

The college is very well known and has proper management regarding admission. The college set up the cut-off and students need to clear the cut-off who wants to take admission in college. The management of taking admission is excellent and students get attracted to take admission to college

What I Liked

Limited extracurricular activities, lack of diversity, or a weak sense of community can make campus life less fulfilling for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I don't want to do engineering Faculty members are highly qualified and student-friendly and are always ready to help, exams are conducted by rtmnu , they are conducted after every 5-6 months,

Remarks:

So at first, I wasn't sure about where to take admission, one of my cousins suggested this college and course, and it turned out good, some of my relatives also studied at this college

Good infrastructure and campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

College provides lots of courses for graduation such as B.Sc, B.Com, B.A, B.C.A , etc and for post graduation such as M.Sc, M.Com, M.A, etc. It also provides its own scholarship like HOPE, Khelo hislop Padho hislop, etc. Here's all the faculties have done Ph.D , Msc, more and have 20+ years teaching experience.

Remarks:

I chose this college for my graduation because of the highly educated and nice faculties. Also has a good campus and infrastructure which contributes a overall positive educational experience. Also offers modern facilities which made me chose this college.

The Hislop Campus

What I Liked

I like the vibe , environment, faculty of this college
The societies made in this college is very good to socialize here

What I didn’t like

There is no Boys common room here like Girls common room
Also the campus is not that big but overall environmet is good

Placement Experience:

Placement is near to nothing in this college , no companies offer the job here for the students neither recruitment occurs here but over all personality development is done for me but for job you have to give competitive exams

Remarks:

I choose this college because the faculty and the environment of this college is suitable for me it gives me good vibes and good opportunity for other curricular activities, also the teachers are very supportive

Placement Experience:

Companies like Infosys tcs can approach the college student which have extraordinary caricular . Highest can be go upto 40 lack per annum Lowest can be 5 lack per annum and average can be 15 lack per annum

Remarks:

This college have all facilities and easy to travel from home as this college are close to the bus stand. Admission process are easy you have to pass in hsc exam above 70 per cent to get your favorite subject.
