Hislop College is one of the oldest colleges in Nagpur and is spread over an area of 2.8328 hectares. It is regarded as Nagpur’s best college. The college has been re-accredited by NAAC ‘A’ Grade with CGPA 3.31

The College offers 6 undergraduate courses and 4 graduate degrees. Courses offered by Hislop College are B.A., B.Com., B.B.A., B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Com. Popular courses offered are B.Sc., B.Com., M.Com., etc. Candidates need to fill the application form online and admission to all categories (i.e. both graduates and graduates) is made solely on the basis of a merit list of eligible candidates. The faculty and students of Hislop College have done 60 projects in various fields and was approved by the university. The College is currently working on 15 research projects in the fields of Botany, Commerce, History and Sociology.

A lot of facilities are being offered by the college like gymnasium, library, hostel, cafeteria, labs, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, etc.

Placement cell of the college is great. They try to conduct various technical events and various certification to make you ready for placements either on-campus or off-campus. Many MNC’s visits the campus for recruiting like Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. Students generally gets a package of 2-3 LPA.

Various scholarships are provided to meritorious students, students whose family income is less, students belonging to SC/ST category, Physically Disabled students etc.
