IEHE Bhopal Admission

Selection Criteria

Selection for all programs is strictly based on merit in the last qualifying examination.

  • Candidates applying for any UG, Diploma or certificate Course must have passed 10+2 examination with 60% marks.
  • Candidates from science stream can get honours courses in science, commerce or arts stream. Candidates from commerce stream can get honours course in commerce or arts stream. Candidates from arts stream can get honours course in arts stream only.
  • Candidates applying for any PG Course must have completed Graduation with 60% marks.
  • Candidates applying for doctorate courses must have completed Post-Graduation.
  • Candidates applying for vocational courses have to give relevant eligibility certificates.
  • There is no age limit for applying to any UG or PG course.
  • Selection of Candidates is not done on the basis of any entrance examination.
  • Reservation Policy is also followed by the Institute for all categories such as SC, ST, EWS, Other Background classes, etc.
  • 10% seats are reserved for Honours courses for students from other states.

Candidates applying for any Course in IEHE Bhopal can apply online mode. Following are the steps to apply:

  • Visit the Official Website of the Institute.
  • The candidates have to log in on MP Higher Education Official Website.
  • Now, the candidates have to register themselves for the course they are choosing. Fill all the personal and educational details carefully. Uploading your scanned photograph is compulsory.
  • After that, the candidates have to verify the documents at an assigned government college which is compulsory. Also, the candidates have to pay the registration fees of INR 100, INR 250 and INR 500 for the 3 rounds of counselling respectively.
  • When the documents would be verified, the candidates have to participate in counselling.
  • Shortlisted candidates can find their names in the merit list provided by the Institute.
  • Those students have to report in college to confirm their seats.
  • Now, the counselling process will get started in 3 rounds.

The IEHE Bhopal has its own placement cell which was established in the year 2002 which helps the students to get jobs easily and improve skills and techniques in various fields.

The placement cell organises seminars, lectures, training programs, fairs, mock tests, industrial visits, workshops, tours and so on. It is a responsibility of the placement cell to develop the capabilities of all the students of the Institute. The cell gives real life experiences so that the students can be prepared to face the outer world.

Now, getting employed and getting jobs has become so difficult and placement is a very challenging task. For this purpose, the placement cell is built which can sharpen the skills of the candidates which would be a great help for the future of students.

IEHE Bhopal Scholarships

The Institute provides many scholarships to the students. It provides financial assistance also. Basically, the Institute provides two kinds of the scholarships to its candidates. These have subtypes also for which the information is given as under:

  • Institutional Scholarships & Awards
  • Merit-cum-means Scholarships: Parent’s Income less than 1,50,000 would get Rs. 5,000.
  • Economic Assistance:Parent’s Income less than 1,50,000 would get Rs. 5,000.
  • Merit Award: Rs. 2,000 would be given to toppers of UG, PG and other courses.
  • Dr N.P. Singh Memorial Award:Parent’s Income less than 3,60,000 would get Rs. 5,000 per annum.
  • Government Scholarships/Yojna
  • Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojna (MMVY): Merit in 12th class in MP would get this scholarship.
  • Gaon ki BetiYojna: Given to those students who are from rural areas.
  • Pratibha Kiran Yojna: Rs. 5,000 to every girl applicant to BPL Category getting 1st division.
  • Vikramaditya Yojna: Parent’s Income less than 56,000 and getting 1st division in class 12th would get Rs. 2,500 per annum.
  • Nishakt Jan Scholarship: Parent’s Income up to 1,00,000 and admission to computer/management course for MP domicile would get Rs. 200 per month.
  • Post Matric Scholarship: Given to SC/ST/OBC and Minority Candidates.
  • Awasiya Yojna: SC/ST Candidates would get Rs. 2,000 per month.
  • Awagaman Yojna Bhatta: Rs. 5 per day with any type of scholarship.

The Institute has well-structured facilities such as class rooms, well-furnished library, well-equipped laboratories, cafeteria, classrooms, gyms and hostel. Following are the facilities of IEHE Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh:

  • Library: IEHE has a well-furnished library which has more than 30,125 books and 55,100 e-books on many subjects such as business & management, Pharmacy & Pharmacology, Engineering, Architecture, Science and Commerce. It has 2100 e-journals, 19 national / state newspapers, 19 magazines, 30 journals and many books on self-development & motivation. The library has a high-speed internet facility also. There are certain rules regarding the issue of a book so that the curriculum of the library can be maintained. Books can only be issued between a specified time limit in the library.
  • Hostel: The Institute has 2 girl’s hostels and 1 boy’s hostel with a capacity of 120 and 100 students so that the students outside Bhopal can stay there. The students have to pay the required hostel fee to stay there. The rules for staying in the hostel should be followed so that the curriculum should be followed. Regular yoga class is also compulsory for hostellers.
  • Sports Facilities:The Institute has one Basketball court,Volleyball court,Kabaddi field, Handball court, Badminton court, cricket pitch, athletic track along with indoor games such as Table Tennis, chess,carrom board, etc.

Ques: Mention the research funding given to the students of IEHE?

Ans: Registration fee of Rs. 1,000 of the students will be given back. They will be given financial assistance for each seminar for which the preference would be given to PG Candidates. Rules have to be followed for which the allowed financial support will be given only. Food, Security and other things would not be given to them. Students can avail assistance once during an academic session.

Ans: Room rent is INR 1,200 and INR 1,000 per month for single and double-seated furnished. Maintenance and other services are to be paid per month which are INR 700. Mess Charges include INR 1,800 per month. Caution money which should be paid once is INR 5,000. Skill Development includes INR 800 per year.
