What I Liked

Our college teachers were like friends we can share any thing to them
College nature was very pretty, nice nature and a big college

What I didn’t like

Some students in our campus was not much discipline
Students dressing was not good some are exposing their dress

Placement Experience:

Many multinational companies are coming to Providence college and many students were placement many companies from Bangalore hydrabad chennai popular companies starting starting 15000 per montly package nearly 50% of students in our college was placed

Remarks:

Providence women's is the number one womens college in calicut and i selected business administration course and Human resources sub course the admission was so cool and principal interview she was a cool principal overall nice

What I Liked

The college atmosphere is very serene and demure . The library here is very aesthetically pleasing and also very functional. The campus is very much filled with nature ,plants , butterflies which is very beautiful to see
The faculty here is very understanding.

What I didn’t like

The rules regarding the dress code which does not make any sense because it is a women's only college so why would the management bother because there is only same gender
Campus can provide a area for relaxation

Placement Experience:

I have no certainty regarding the informations about the internships conducted in this college currently but there was extra course provided as that can be taken along with b.com by interested students which ACCA . It can be done simultaneously with our current course but there shouldn't be any supplies until 4th semester

Remarks:

This is a very reputed and accredited college which also well known for its excellentance in academics as well as extracurriculam which attracted me and all my fellow pupils to this institution.It is a women's college that has been founded by AC sisters

My experiences in providence Womens College

What I Liked

I like the positive ambience that the college holds . It’s really graceful and a feast to the eyes. College has a very big library. The canteen has good and tidy food of different kinds also a juice station separately. The hygiene of bathrooms and classroom is well maintained. Teachers are friendly.

What I didn’t like

The timing is very strict and travel to college is costly. They won’t let us leave the college premises even if we don’t have classes.
Projects are to be submitted within the timeline they don’t consider our mental health for some reason. It feels hectic

Placement Experience:

According to my course, I am planning to become a lecturer in any college. It would need a master's degree with net qualifications. At my college student campus placement is all more for science students.

Remarks:

I had a meeting with a few teachers and the principal along with my parents during the admission process. The college is very strict and doesn’t allow to go outside even if there’s no class. I like the canteen facilities. The college also has a positive ambience.

What I Liked

Infrastructure of the campus is an attractive one . Faculties are good and friendly.
The festival of campus is never ending. Day by day we have programs in department wise and for whole college

What I didn’t like

College is very strict,maybe it will be suffocating for some students
Politics is prohibited in campus .How could we stop talking about politics in India?

Placement Experience:

When we talk about placements, About 60% of the students from our course got placed. Top companies like Accenture, Tata Consultancy Service, etc., visit our college for placements. All the students are consulted on getting an internship. Top roles like marketing manager, human resource manager, finance manager, management accountant, production manager, etc., are offered to the students. Internships also there from IITs

Remarks:

Their Academic performance has attracted me to reach there. After joining there I realized that there are more opportunities than academics. They provide civil service coaching, music instrument classes, etc. Providence Women's College has an NAAC A++ grade and recently college status changed to AUTONOMOUS.

Once a Providona, Always a Providona

What I Liked

Faculty, Campus life , Campus atmosphere
Eco friendly campus, Management, Non teaching staffs

What I didn’t like

Everything is good except the canteen service and food.
We can only get out the college after 3:15.We bunk classes.

Placement Experience:

Frequent job fairs are conducted. Some of the aviation groups have conducted recruitments. The travel agency has conducted a recruitment drive. 100% of the students get placements. After graduation, I am planning to take an MBA in Tourism and Hospitality

Remarks:

The course was only provided by this college. Providence College has a good image among the public. And I always wanted to study here. So that's why I chose this College. There were extracurricular activities, group discussions interviews, and written tests.
