Farook College (Autonomous) is now Calicut University's largest residential Post Graduate Institution. The NAAC, Bangalore, has re-accredited the college with a ‘A+' grade and a GPA of 3.51 on a four-point scale, effective March 2016.The institution and its dorms welcome students of all castes and creeds and provide amenities that contribute to the campus's construction of a healthy multicultural atmosphere.

Farook College Scholarships

According to the norms established for the purpose, five Merit Scholarships worth ₹ 300/- each are provided to students admitted to Farook College.

  • Kerala State Scholarships for Arts and Science Courses are also available to students in their first year of study in a variety of courses. Students who have received at least 50% in their qualifying exams and whose parents' annual income does not exceed ₹ 10,000/- and ₹ 12,000/- for Degree and Post Graduate courses, respectively are eligible for this scheme. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit plus means, subject to the amount of scholarships available each year.
