Sarsuna College Kolkata admission into UG and PG are closed for the academic session 2024-25. Admission to Sarsuna College is based on the merit list prepared by the college on the basis of the percentage obtained in the qualifying examination.

Sarsuna College Application Process 2024

Application is available through online. Candidates can apply separately for more than one course via this online process.

UG courses

For applying online, students should follow the steps, given below –

  • Go to College websites “Admission” tab and then “online Admission”.
  • Fill the application form carefully before submitting it.
  • Print double side of application form and bank challan.
  • INR 125 must be deposited as application fees via offline method only in any branch of ICICI Bank to the College account number ( 0036SLFEECOL)

Note: The application fee is only accepted from the mentioned Bank. Any non-designated branches of the Bank will not be accepted even though the Bank accepts the application fee.

Students have to bring some original documents during counselling for verification such as:

  • Print Copy of the application form.
  • Students and College copies of Challan with Bank stamp.
  • SSC and HSC passing marksheet and certificate.
  • One attested photocopy of HSC marksheet.
  • Caste Certificate and two passport size photos.

Note: After verifying the documents the College will give the admit order by stamping. Students have to print this admission challan because it is compulsory at the time of admission.

PG courses

Candidates who want to admit themselves to the first year of PG courses under distance education, can download the form from directorate of Distance Education of Vidyasagar University.

  • Regular students can also pick the form from Sarsuna College.
  • INR 350 has to be paid as application fee in challan through UCO Bank branch of the University.
  • For Distance Education fees can be paid via demand draft drawn in favour of ” Directorate of Distance Education, Vidyasagar University” payable at ‘Midnapore’. The form and the demand draft have to be sent with the following documents : 1. Challan copy of application fee. 2. Self attested photocopies of all academic testimonials. 3. NOC from employee.
