SN College is a very large and well-established institution. It has many departments, such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, etc. New subjects like double main in English and Malayalam are also offered, along with various BA courses. PG courses are available as well. The IGNOU centre is also located within SN College. The teachers and faculty members are very good and supportive. They are always helpful in all matters. The classes are also of high quality.

The course and the curriculum are simple and flexible. The college provides different types of notes for studying purposes. The college also has different types of scholarship programs. According to me, the botany department was cool.the teachers teach us well and they also use presentation. They also provide extra classes online or offline. Another winning point is that they give notes and important topic ideas .they really helped in our project during the 6th sem

The course which I took, BSc Botany and Biotechnology (Double - Main) is a science-oriented course which mainly focuses on the study of micro organisms for the betterment of mankind. For me, Botany as a main subject is quite difficult and Biotechnology was quite interesting. The teaching faculties were good. The guest teachers teaches well and better than permanent ones. Teachers are PhD holders. The curriculum needs to be re constructed as the number of Lab Records should be minimised. The labs are well established and have the freedom to work. The scholarships are provided to eligible students such belong to backward classes, with good academics, etc. The Fee is 5500 per semester and there is no fee for the students from backward classes.

I choose Bsc botany because, as I am a science student,I want to extend my career through science. I felt like Im more interested in biology rather than other science subjects. So I chose Bsc botany as my career
