What I Liked

What I really liked about the college was its excellent infrastructure and supportive faculty. Most of the classrooms were smart classrooms, equipped with modern facilities that made learning more engaging. The campus was spacious and well-maintained, offering an eco-friendly environment that made it a pleasant place to spend time in.
The faculty members were knowledgeable and approachable, always ready to help students academically and personally. Apart from academics, the campus life was vibrant, with various clubs like the Arts Club, Sports Club, and Reading Club. There were many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities, which made the college experience even more enjoyable and well rounded.

What I didn’t like

While my overall experience was good, there were a few things I didn’t like about the college. Firstly, the Wi-Fi connectivity was poor in some areas of the campus, which made it difficult to access study materials online. Secondly, although the infrastructure was decent, a few classrooms and washrooms needed better maintenance.
Some administrative processes were slow and unorganized, especially when it came to issuing certificates or handling student queries. Lastly, while campus life was active, I felt that placement opportunities and career guidance sessions were limited, which could have been improved.

Placement Experience:

Our college provide placement from Accenture. Eligibility criteria is based on the semester wise marks. Placement selection is done by written exams and interviews. My plan after graduation is getting a government job. I am also preparing for it.

Remarks:

Sree Narayana College is a very famous college in Kollam district. Many great leaders and prominent personalities have studied there. It’s a college full of wonderful memories. However, the lab facilities are lacking — that is one drawback. Need more lab accessories and provide more cleaned environment.

The Complete Review Of SN College Kollam

What I Liked

Faculty :- the college faculties are well educated and experience the so we can get well planned study materials and extra for our career and studies
Campus life :- the college wonderful campus live for the students who studied at there.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure :- the infrastructure is good but we just need to improve the infrastructure very well
College Timing:- as a student from 40 kms away I can't reach the college at time by using train or any other transportation I just need to change the college timing

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement assistant sales which ensures placements for the students who complete graduation from that college. The placement cells arrange placement races for the students. Some of them are tied up with the district government of Kollam 12 LPA is an average as per the companies.

Remarks:

Sree Narayana College is a college situated in the heart part of Kollam. With good ambience and Academics. The faculties provided by the college are extraordinary and systematic. The college has created an A+ in the NAAC Accreditation.

A look through snc kollam

What I Liked

Campus life and other progra.mes events like food fest,valentines day programmes, freshers day ,college day, farewell party

What I didn’t like

Political party conflicts. Which is mainly found during the election phase

Placement Experience:

They do help us by providing a lot of seminars and job fairs.. not only that they also provide us career development seminars and classes on how to attend an interview and how to answer questions.. our dressing code posture everything ..the teachers also notify the students about job opportunities and latest job vacancies.

Remarks:

The college is really popular and I was impressed by the campus life and friendly teachers. I got admission through allotment and I have to bring tc conduct certificate and plus2,10th certificate and plus2 mark list we have to fill out a form before admission and there is also a small interview with the principal where he just asks about our details and opinion about the admission

Life in SNC, Kollam

What I Liked

I like the classes and faculty of course which I pursued.
The college infrastructure is good, but not the best

What I didn’t like

Campus Politics and related scenarios..
Leaves that come too often causes the portions to be difficult to cover up.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I took, BSc Botany and Biotechnology (Double - Main) is a science-oriented course which mainly focuses on the study of micro organisms for the betterment of mankind. For me, Botany as a main subject is quite difficult and Biotechnology was quite interesting. The teaching faculties were good. The guest teachers teaches well and better than permanent ones. Teachers are PhD holders. The curriculum needs to be re constructed as the number of Lab Records should be minimised. The labs are well established and have the freedom to work. The scholarships are provided to eligible students such belong to backward classes, with good academics, etc. The Fee is 5500 per semester and there is no fee for the students from backward classes.

Remarks:

I chose this college because I got to know that the college atmosphere is cooler than my friends. But it's not as I expected. The college is full of politics and there were no classes for half of the year. I haven't had a big group of friends as I am not interested in politics and other stuff. There are a lot of entertainment activities going on in the college, and it was fun. Arts Day, Food Fest, etc are the best among them. The admission procedure was quite simple. I applied through the portal of kerala University and got admission. For non-merit seats, it costs up to 1,10,000 + a Yearly fee of about 5500/year. The good aspects are; there are lot of cultural and arts fest going on and can be relaxation for many students. The main bad aspect is the college politics that often causes problems such as injuries, police cases, and even dismissal from courses and college.

What I Liked

Sree narayana college kollam have a beautiful and unforgettable campus life . Beauty of sree narayana college kollam lies on its infrastructure
Faculty of different departments are of different types. Botany faculties are not upto the level as expected

What I didn’t like

The first thing I dislike in my college is the monopoly strategy of students union
Second thing I dislike in sree narayana college kollam is the auditorium as its not a closed one

Placement Experience:

As the college is Arts and science college,there is no placements and internships But training institutes continuously visit our college for the next step and varieties of professional courses like medical coding

Remarks:

Sree narayana college kollam is a well known arts and science college in the heart of kollam town. Admission process is based on allotments and reservations ; community quota, management quota, and spot admission
