St. mira's College of girls comes among the top 10 colleges for psychology and is well known. Only the bad aspects are that they don't have a specialisation in psychology for first and second year you have to study other subjects with psychology. There is only one subject of psychology and with that you also have to study geography history English sociology etc. the admission process is very easy the students have to score a minimum of 60% and above and should have good score in the subject their chosen. If you carry all that documents the admission will be done in first visit itself. There are no interview rounds for admission only you should score good in your 12th.

Read Full ReviewI choose psychology as the course because of my interest and also the faculty of this college. The most understanding and good faculty of psychology doesn't let anyone feel pressurized or that they aren't receiving any help during the course. They are highly qualified and have great teaching skills. The exams are taken timely and difficulty level is maintained as well. But no need to worry as doubts are also cleared timely with assistance of a great faculty.
I chose this college because of its faculty and the courses that it provides. The course isn't that pressurizing and fulfills all the objectives as well. You get to learn a lot in 3 whole years. Choosing psychology here was best for me because I feel the course teaches way more than what other colleges are teaching at a Bachelor's level. Admission criteria are simply based on merit. But now that NEP is applied, the process has changed a bit. 60 seats per course - with specialization in arts we have English, Psychology, and Sociology. A full-fledged interview and written essay are taken when choosing a specialization.
Read Full ReviewVarious internships are being conducted by the college . We have field trips organized by the department. After the completion of third year of graduation we have always being told about the placements and students get hired too as well.
I did my graduation from this college so I thought to complete my master's from this college itself as it is very good college to study and the curriculum is also very good. The teachers are also very supportive and caring.
Read Full ReviewThe placement cell is active for all the TY students from the starting of the year and they ensure that everybody has their types of job roles. Companies like McKinsey & company, Starbucks,Tata 1mg etc. have been the companies sending their job roles. Mostly and honestly the students do not go for job roles as they have higher studies to do too but mostly would go and have a great opportunity too. I personally am going for my masters degree so I would not prefer working in the situation.
The teaching staff is one of the top teachers and very very informative education is provided. The admission is totally based on the previous board marks and a good cut off of above 65% is required. The office staff is sometimes according to 3 years of my experience and of others is rude and not very cooperative sometimes but overall the staff is great and very friendly.
