• The eligibility for admission in Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) The course be, namely:
  • The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized board Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and have obtained a minimum of fifty percent. Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in case of student belonging to general category and forty  marks in case of student belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Provided that in respect of person with disability specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the qualifying marks in the examinations shall be forty-five percent.   • Biology/Biotechnology studied as an Additional Subject at 10+2 level also shall not be for such admission:

  • No candidate shall be considered for admission in Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) Course unless the candidate attains the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st day of December of the year of admission in the first year of the Course;

The subject of study for undergraduate students studying BHMS includes preclinical subjects like ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY, PATHOLOGY including MICROBIOLOGY & PARASITOLOGY, FORENSIC MEDICINE including TOXICOLOGY and clinical subjects like SURGERY including ORTHOPAEDICS, ENT & OPHTHALMOLOGY, GYNAECOLOGY and OBSTERTICS, PRACTICE OF MEDICINE including PAEDIATRICS & PSYCHIATRY and COMMUNITY MEDICINE. The Homoeopathic subjects like the HOMOEOPATHIC PHARMACY, ORGANON OF MEDICINE, HOMOEOPATHIC MATERIA MEDICA and REPERTORY are taught along with the pre clinical and clinical subjects.
