Overall it's great course but need little more recognition as it's known as B.A. it is but when you apply for the any govt jobs this is something very un applicable course which hardly recognise your course
They had given internship opportunities to the Every student. As it was based on the marks but asian school understands that sometimes marks are not the only thing which describes student that why they provided internships to every student to build there self confidence
Read Full ReviewI have interest in journalism and mass communication and they offer very good curriculum . Teachers are well qualified and hold PhD degree or persuing . Exams are held once in a semester and difficulty is moderate .
there is no specific eligibility to sit for placements, it's on the company what will be the criteria. Few companies that visited are Republic Bharat India, aaj tak, Zee Media. Highest package is 8 lac and average is 3.5 lac.
Read Full ReviewOur subjects are very interesting and interactive and the faculty always try their best to make us learn new stuff and our classes are not always about theoretical knowledge but our faculty also takes us to field visits where we get real time experience which is a must as a student of journalism
As I said earlier our classes are not just about theoretical knowledge but they take us to field visits and also encourage us to work on our skills our mentor always provides us with many opportunities to prove ourselves in front of the world.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because journalism has always been my inspiration. I am a person who likes to explore and learn new things. Journalism involves things like being bold, attentive, hard-working, getting to the core of things, and traveling. These are the things that I have always loved. I would say Amity should hire faculties more because in my department more than 10 teachers left because for some reason. So teachers who specialized in one particular subject started teaching a subject that was not her domain which made it difficult for students to understand the subject. The teaching method was I would say average. The exams were held on time and the exam difficulty level is moderate. No scholarship was provided to any of us. The fees are quite high regarding the facilities given to us. Despite complaining more than 100 times, there was no separate lift made for students. Even when students were sick we were forced to use stairs and not given lift provision.
Campus placement was offered but as I said the companies that were coming were not good so I did not sit for the placement. I am rather applying for paid internships on my own as a content writer role. The eligibility criteria for placement were to pass all exams and have good conversation skills. I wish to work as an intern and understand what I want to do next and then apply for a master's. It is very important to know in what field you want to do a master's in many students make the mistake of applying for a master's randomly and not thinking properly
