KC Law College, established in 1955, is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and recognized by the Bar Council of India. The college has earned an 'A' grade accreditation from NAAC and is highly regarded in the field of legal education. According to the CSR Law Schools Survey 2024, it holds the 3rd rank among the Top Leading Law Schools of Super Excellence in India and 2nd place among Top Law Schools in Maharashtra. Additionally, India Today 2024 ranked KC Law College 27th among the Top Law Colleges in India.

KC Law College offers both LLB and LLM programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Admission to these programs is based on the merit obtained in the MH CET Law exam. To be eligible for the LLB program, candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks. For admission to the LLM program, candidates must hold an LLB degree with at least 45% marks from a recognized university. The college has 240 seats for the LLB program and 60 seats for the LLM program. All admissions are carried out according to the merit list and schedule provided on the MH CET website. In 2024, the general category cutoff mark for MH CET Law was 98.45 for LLB admissions. The total fee for the LLB program is INR 21.27k, while the fee for the LLM program is INR 1.12 lakh.

KC Law College provides several scholarships for backward-class students like the Government of India Post Matric Scholarship where students belonging to SC and ST caste and whose parent/guardian has annual income up to INR 2L or below are eligible for the scholarship. Some freeships are also provided to backward-class students for financial assistance. The college also provides scholarships like the Priyadarshini Academy Scholarship, HSNC Board Scholarship, and Geeta Israni scholarship for financial assistance.
