Rayat Bahra University, also known as RBU, is a private university in Mohali, Punjab. The institution operates under the Rayat Bahra Group and was earlier known as Rayat & Bahra Institute of Engineering and Biotechnology, Kharar (RBIEBT).

RBIEBT was established in 2005 and was affiliated with Punjab Technical University. At that stage, it offered undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programmes. Rayat Bahra University now provides courses in Engineering & Technology, Management Studies, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Law, Sciences, Social Sciences and Education.
