Placement Experience:

In medical field the placement purely depends upon ur choice of work( government setup , private setup , private clinic ) The average package after completing mbbs is nearly 6 to 8 LPA( u must pursue any P.G for good income) But after 4 years of study, a year of compulsory internship is offered where u are paid 30k per month.

Remarks:

This is a College under the Dr.MGR university of Tamilnadu. Here the admission of M.B.B.S happens through a counseling process where students are alloted college based on their rank scored through NEET exam. National eligibility cum entrance test (NEET) is conducted every year by the NTA. NEET is compulsory to get admission in this college. Rank list is published based on your score in NEET, and based on which u get colleges alloted in both all india quota and state quota. I passed NEET and scored 598 in 2021, and got admission in this college. The cut off mark for this college keeps varying (increasing) every year The best part of this college is it is very accessible from Chennai ( approx 1¼ hour journey) and u get every facility here. And the patient load is very high which increases the exposure to very vast variety of medical cases to learn from. The only bad aspect is it's a very old college(1965), so don't expect a Hi - Fi infrastructure, but it's good enough

Placement Experience:

There are no placements or campus interviews. You have to clear NEET PG to join the post-graduate course. Some of them start their clinic after completing MBBS, which is also another option. I'm going to complete my post-graduation after completing this degree.

Remarks:

I got this college on my medical counselling based on cut-offs. I'm eligible for many other colleges like Salem, Trichy, etc.. but I chose this college because it's less distant from my home. The admission process for MBBS is only through medical counselling based on NEET marks. When I got a seat in 2022, the cutoff of this college for the BC category was 592. But last year it increased to around 615. I prepared for these procedures by watching YouTube videos, because none of my close people were in the medical field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this college over others was it is an old college, established in 1965,so the facilities and amenities may be good i guess, but I was totally wrong,it's a product of a long period of scam of large amount of money from the administration level i think,or the avoidance from the government side, the facilities of academic is the only Plus point this college can provide.mosy building in this college and hospital is so old and it age back to 1965 I think.exam is conducted in the correct term and yearly basis.as it is government college, tuition fees are low ,but the college college other fees in the name of department development and students' sponsership

Remarks:

exposure with lots of cases, rare and common ,few good professors ,few good friends and some seniors , then comes the 4th year where professor and dept started to torture you ,still it was better than the internship the college offers . internship is the worst of all, culmination of the 1st year ragging, being a slave of workers, cleaners to professor and pgs.everyone order things which is done by us
