What I Liked

The college have well equipped Library with Wifi
The Faculties are well experienced and best Doctors of state
Campus life is fun as we are having many fest and events

What I didn’t like

Campus is crowded as it is a Government institute
Stressful curriculum which makes campus life bit hard

Placement Experience:

MBBS course doesn't Provide Campus Placement. Graduate Student have Placed at UPSC , State Government services, Insurance Medical services. Many Graduate students opt For USMLE and PLAB Other Clear NEET PG and continue Their MD/MS. Average LPA of a Graduate students is about 18LPA.

Remarks:

Admission Was through NEET UG exam. Pros. Of college First medical college in kerala started in 1951. Ranked 42 NIRF, Ranked 1 college Kerala. Best academic .Most of Graduate Student have cleared USMLE , PLAB and NEET PG.College have spend about 60cr for library new equipment and maintenance of academic infrastructure in the year 2023. Sponsored Research project are going on With funding estimated around 1.34Cr. average OPD attendance is about 5500. Number of Beds 3300.Supports Entrepreneurship and Innovation through Young Innovators Program. Conc. Less research opportunities for UG when compared to AIIMS Delhi. No funding support for Startup.

Medical College Kerala

What I Liked

I like the class rooms facilities and college programs
One of best college in Kerala and india

What I didn’t like

Some teachers are very annoying and don't support in studies and the very expensive inthis college compered to others medical College
The washroom is not good in college old no good canteen

Placement Experience:

So medical field is one of the biggest and most developed field in India , offcourse you will get a good job with good salary,with high stats in society After pg you will get more salary no campus placement you have to write exams for working in a government hospital

Remarks:

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM MEDICAL COLLEGE is one of the best college in Kerala it's rank is 1 the infrastructure of this college is also awesome. The class rooms are very good .with full of cultural events, you can watch videos of this college in YouTube

The mbbs journey.

What I Liked

The collage infrastructure is very nice.
The faculty members are very well educated.

What I didn’t like

The collage infrastructure is very nice but collage is not completed yet so this think I dislike about compus.
The room are not so comfortable as u seen in hostels.

Placement Experience:

This collage is opened in year 2023 so this collage is newly opened so there are till no replacement for the student. But they assured us that the stipend will be very good and when we complete our mbbs journey.

Remarks:

This collage is localised in Andhra Pradesh and the education system and level of this state is very high and nice. I have submitted the original documents and 1st year fees to get admission in this collage.

The best medical college in kerala

What I Liked

It has the bestest infrastructure in kerala for studying mbbs
There are a lot of extracurricular activities such as dance music etc

What I didn’t like

As mbbs itself will be stressful that is the only thing
The university is bit hard to crack it out

Placement Experience:

If we pass the final year exam we will be having one year intership after that we can run a clinc of our own or prepare for PG for further studying My plan is mostly to prepare for PG and get admission in a college

Remarks:

This college is the no. One medical college of kerala. The admission is through the NEET UG exam which is conducted yearly. We need min cut off of 200 kerala rank to get into this college.we can get admission through all india or kerala allotment(if you are a native of kerala)

MD Psychiatry in Government Medical college, Trivandrum

What I Liked

The campus life is awesome You can become a good clinician while not compromising in your hobbies and interests
The patient load is pretty high, and with opportunity to work in a facility exclusive for mental health, the exposure is pretty good

What I didn’t like

The lack of hostel facilities for female pgs
Inadequate wards for psychiatry patients No rooms for rehabilitation or therapies

Placement Experience:

After completing the 3 year course, we have to do 1 year of resisency in a government setup. Unfortunately the residents seats are only 2 here so that we have to search another college or hospital or have to wait in most cases. Only when we complete our residency, we will be allowed to practice on our own On the other hand you can apply for psc, upsc, esi Or similar exams conducted by the government and get palced and can continue ur residency and career there

Remarks:

Got admission through All India Quota in NEET PG entrance exam My 1st option was this college as this is the number 1 in Kerala. This has the maximum MD psychiatry seats in the state with good load of patients and also with a wing working in one of the mental health centres in the state The college is situated in the capital of the state With access to all amenities including an international airport

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is the best as the campus is a large area including play grounds and courts and the faculty are top notch.
Campus life is the best as frequent fests are conducted.

What I didn’t like

The college doesnot have anything to sdislike
The college is the best and provides you with everything you need

Placement Experience:

We should pass the final year exams and do 1 year of house surgery to be eligible. the average salary may be about 500000 per year. as the profession is as a doctor company placements do not play a major role here.

Remarks:

The college is the best medical college in Kerala and is ranked 42 in all of India in the NIRF ranking 2024...the admission is through the next score and the cutoff will be around Kerala ranking 300 and air about 2500 for the general category. All India admission is through the MCC site.

TRIVANDRUM MEDICAL COLLEGE: BEST OF THE SOUTH

What I Liked

I like the faculty here they are well knowledgeable
the patient load is high which gives us a lot of opportunities to learn

What I didn’t like

it is a very crammed college due to the amount of people that come here
the hostel is a bit old and the rooms are small

Placement Experience:

Usually MBBS students ago for post-graduation. However, graduates from Trivandrum Medical College are well-regarded all over the world and stand out due to the quality of education they receive and the skills they inculcate.

Remarks:

So the main aspects that led me to choose this college are mainly its curricular and the patient load which makes it among the top 25 colleges in India. It has a great alumni system as well as a thriving extracurricular activity. I had written the NEET exam for it and got air 4327.

My college

What I Liked

The campus life is really amazing and I like that the most.
Almost all the faculties are also really nice and supportive.

What I didn’t like

The thing I dislike is that the area around the college is really congested.
There are a number of buildings adjacent to the college and there is high traffic during daytime.

Placement Experience:

There’s no college placement.But there is an internship programme for 1 year after completing the course with salary included.I plan to complete the course and specialise and get a MD in any of the department.

Remarks:

This was my dream college. It’s in my hometown, Trivandrum. The college atmosphere is great and the students have a lot of freedom to explore and experience. The only criterion for getting into this college is scoring good marks in the NEET exam.

My dream college

What I Liked

Our college is known for its infrastructure and the faculties.our facilities are the best among the country.
Campus life is a dream come true for every student.we are getting every opportunity for becoming a better person

What I didn’t like

Like a medical college,our college is also facing problems such as no enough doctors and facilities.
It is always overcrowded and chance of getting infection is very high

Placement Experience:

After 4 years of college, we are getting an opportunity for an internship in the college with a monthly stipend. after that one year we are capable of working as doctors. after that, I'm planning to prepare for the PG NEET exam. majority of students are planning to go out of India.

Remarks:

I got admission through the NEET exam. My college is one of the best medical colleges in the country. it was my dream to study at this college. I was preparing for this exam for one year in an entrance institute.

Government medical college Trivandrum

Course Curriculum Overview:

The government aids the college, and the students are to pay only tuition fee which amounts to about 25000 annually. Coming on to academics, TMC harbors the best set of facilities with immense expertise in their respective subjects and years of experience.

Remarks:

This is one of the best medical colleges in the country and the top one in the state. Being located at the center of the city the college provides easy access to many places be it a food spot or any other recreational spot.
