Honest review of muzaffarnagar medical college by 2nd year MBBS student

What I Liked

The campus is well secured from all ends the securities very good so if a person is scared from the name of the college Muzaffarnagar the place is not the scenario as if I enter the campus that he permission he is totally bound to get caught also to campus with all of the dequatings like and personal water plant and an personal electricity provider so this is not a showing more

What I didn’t like

I wanted the campus to be huge like 100 acres but yeah can't help now

Placement Experience:

In MBBS there is no placement from the college itself the only thing is that college offers compulsory internship for one year with us to attend and in which the students are posted every department that have to work for a shift of 10 hours daily basis postpaid after 5.5 is they can work anywhere residential physician and the canon anything between 1 lakh 1.5 lakh or more than that depending on the skills that acquired during the internship program which is the college offers and if the student is well with everything which is required in the medical field he can even more than 2 lakhs per month

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is compulsory in the college for which they pair of it 12000 per month it is a one year entire course in which your posted in every department of the college and there is ample flow in every departments on an average is a patient flow of 1500 people and am averaage 100 operates done daily basis opds are always full and also are ipds decent flow is seen

What I Liked

Infrastructure Is quite good and library is huge and has different sections so accordingly you can sit to your convenience.
Football always fascinated me so is a great football field which is taken care on weekly basis .

What I didn’t like

Construction always going on in near by area .
Process of the disciplinary committee in finding the guilty .

Placement Experience:

College does not provide placement as their is no restriction on students to work with them as they have their own free will however if you want to join the same college then you are preferred over others ,internship of one year is provided by the college and stipend is also provided to the interns.

Internships Opportunities:

No I have not applied for any internship but college do provide internship in its hospital for 1 year after final year . And residence is free for interns and they are also stipend for their internship on monthly basis.

What I Liked

Campus life is good with proper hygiene lighting with proper place for interaction with junior seniors
Faculty guest houses are there in campus in campus there are grounds courts for badminton volleyball basketball

What I didn’t like

There is lot of construction happens in my college
Sometimes there is lot of small spaces where the garbage is remain there

Placement Experience:

Mbbs is a brand degree when u complete your degree there is high chance of your placement in any hospital with min salary of 80000 when i complete my course i want to job in hospital also i try to get seat in neet pg

Internships Opportunities:

No as i am 3 year student and internship occurs in last year stipend on an average is 9000 which is very less. Internship you need to do in same college as it is must . You are not eligible to do internship in any other college

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is very good high class equipment.
Building is big and large .provide all equipment.

What I didn’t like

Campus is little bit small and saturated
Campus is far from city also and there is no good thing outside near

Placement Experience:

Internship is necessary for 1 year . You have to do duty in every branch of mbbs in your internship period . You get about 12 thousand per month as your stipend. Overall you get good experience here in your internship.

Internships Opportunities:

There is no companies taken you for your internship. You have to do your internship in your college for 1 year as it's compulsory for every one . You get about 12 thousand per month as your stipend in college.

What I Liked

The only thing that I liked about my college was the infrastructure.
I liked my internship better than all the professional years as you get a clinical training here. You can actually perform minor procedures on patients here and learn the application side of your theory. The staff here is really supportive and they teach you things but you will have to take an initiative for that.

What I didn’t like

There are a lot of restrictions on you in our college like th specific "IN" timings in our hostels which is like 8.30ish p.m. You are not allowed to go outside of your hostel after that.
The campus life becomes boring after a while because there is not much to do. There are a limited number of shops nearby, limited number of cafes and after a year or two you get saturated of the place.
As an intern a common problem that we all interns faced was the HR department. You get 10,000 Per month as an intern but the management won't give you 10. They will deliberately cut your stipend and make it 7-7.5 or sometimes even less. Then you'll have to go to the HR again and again and beg them for your money.

Placement Experience:

You will have to do a 1-year rotating internship in your college where you will be posted in every department for some time so you'll get the gist of every extremity. But there is no culture of recruitment companies here. You just do your MBBS, complete your internship, and get out of college with a degree. Although you can join as a tutor or a medical officer (emergency dept.) in our college also after you have completed your internship. My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for my NEET PG exam.

Internships Opportunities:

You'll have to complete your 1 year rotating internship in your college only. The main tasks that you will be given in your internship are monitoring the vitals of the patient, vital charting, making discharge cards, minor surgical procedures, assisting with the OPD under a PG resident, sending samples, and collecting lab reports of patients, etc. You will have to work 9-4 but the timings are flexible and you get lunch breaks as well. You get 10,000 paid per month in your internship.

What I Liked

The infrastructure is good. Hostels a also good.
Faculties are awesome. They are very helpful in all the ways.

What I didn’t like

Just don’t do anything illegal so they cannot fine you.
Campus is small. Not very large. The locality of college is not good

Placement Experience:

In MBBS we don’t get placements. We have a 4-and-a-half-year course then 1 year of internship in a hospital. Then we will get the degree as getting a Doctor Title in front of your name. And that will be satisfactory.

Internships Opportunities:

As I told you all we have to study for 4 and a half years and then 1 year of internship. In the internship program, we have to serve in the hospital as an intern. Doctors will teach you the basics of being a doctor there.
