Florence Nightingale College of Nursing, The real review

What I Liked

The clinical exposure associated with this college at GTB Hospital is great and vast.
The faculty and teachers are all nice, highly educated and helpful.

What I didn’t like

This college don't have a good campus as it is situated with in the hospital.
As Nursing is a professional course, the college focuses more on education and studies rather than experiencing college life.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel is not mandatory for all students. The infrastructure of hostel is great. Two girls are alloted to a single room of appropriate size with one almirah, one rack and a separate balcony. The hostel's mess food is great and better than many other college's hostel. Thera is a variety of food prepared in mess. Special food is prepared on special occasions. Hostel fee: 2500/- per year Mess fee: 2500/- per month

Campus Life:

The infrastructure of college is not very nice. Life at campus is fine overall. Tha academics are really good. Faculty is good and well- educated. The fest occurs in UCMS every year in the month of May within the hospital campus. Students get a books issue card at library, using which they can issue any book from the library related to the course. Variety of books of different authors are present in library. As it is a professional course, there are no social clubs present from the college's side. Students can find their own source of entertainment and can follow their passions in the meantime.

Let's know about FNCON

What I Liked

Faculties are very helpful in may ways.
There is a big library where you get all books related to your syllabus

What I didn’t like

. There is a in time in Nurses hostel I.e,7pm.which is too early to get in to the histel
.there in no emergency canteen in our hostel

Hostel Facilities:

.In hostel 2 person will share one room,in si gle room we have 2 beds, one Rekha and one Almira. The food quality is okay, mess charges are 2500 for one month .in hostel if you get at anytime they will provide you immediate medical facilities

Campus Life:

We have a large campus within the campus we have a large park in which you can play football, basketball, volleyball ,cricket and badminton. In campus we have a grocery shop called nfd in which you get every daily using grocery products

What I Liked

There is a big campus, and peaceful, its beautiful and safe also, it have a lot of trees and connected with nature
There is a grocery shop on campus itself called nfd, you'll get daily using grocery prduct from hare

What I didn’t like

Nurses hostel in time in 7pm, it is quite eary to get in the hostel
And the area around the campus is not very good

Hostel Facilities:

Food is okay, You can apply for the hostel from collage during admission, registration in hostel will be depend on totally on distance of your home from collage Mess fess is 2500 for a month You can also rent a room in filshad garden and in janta flates in around 8k to 10k for a month

Campus Life:

There is no fest of this clg. Library is There in the college at 3rd floor There is annual sports day which held in march There is no club or website for the college,you'll get the information of collage through GTB hospital's website

About my BSc nursing journey!!

What I Liked

I like about the hostel facility because I can hangout in the evening with my friends. There is library service available I used to go in the library during my free hours. There is a pin drop silenceavailable
I like the Saturday most in the college because I used to stay in the hostel as I have to go at my home every Saturday evening.

What I didn’t like

There is so much restriction in the college as well in the hostel. The warden is very strict not even friendly with students. She is very dangerous even God is not allowed to take our food orders or courier after 7 o'clock.
The mess food was okay okay but there is special food in the Friday night during every month

Hostel Facilities:

The food quality was okay. There is a hostel room available for two student. In one room to students live. There is a warden who maintain the hostel decorum. There is a timing restriction for students they are not allowed to go after 7 o'clock in the evening there is a outing before 7 o'clock and students can go there home from hostel on Saturday night and come in the Sunday evening. There are common bathrooms and washrooms. There are four set of bathroom and washroom in each floor. There is a common mess at ground floor. They are two garden in the hostel.

Campus Life:

This college provide many facilities like there is wifi available in classroom . There is no AC in student classroom but there are AC in lab and faculty room. There is staff canteen. There is a library hall in which you can take the books and read them during free hours. This college does not provide many more facilities for sports games and other activities. They does not have their own fest. There is no cultural fest. This college mainly focuses on the students academic performance. There is hostel service available and it has its own mess. And student can take PG too.

My best college

What I Liked

I like the Library facilities and also that there are pyq available so u need not to search here and there
I like the hospital area much as it is huge and lots of learning opportunities

What I didn’t like

No ground to play sports and organise programms
No hall aur auditorium available so they need to organise in ucms library

Campus Life:

Life at campus is good.Bit strict in terms of classes and attendance u need 75 percent attendance nd 100 percent in clinical areas .But fest freshers and fairwell occur . Different occasions and festivals are celebrated.Sports day is conducted once a year. Library is available and all course books are available there you can issue a book for 14 days. Elections occur every year..Hostel rooms are goven with 2 bed a big rack and a almirah attached wit a blacony and 1 room has 2 people to share.Food is quite good u get different food each day and a special dinner on every Friday
