What I Liked

College infrastructure simple, campus also good , faculty are great
College students go to the library and take the books and read

What I didn’t like

There is no playground in college campus ,both hostel also
There is no canteen in this college only one canteen is available

Placement Experience:

Central institute of petrochemical engineering and technology cipet IPT chennai provides great placement provide good package for all students of you study all subject with develop your skill is very important

Remarks:

I am currently 2nd year student good college College infrastructure not bad , placements also good it's under anna university control in tamil Nadu cipet IPT chennai under both BTech BE syllabus and examination

A detail of college

What I Liked

About college, good place to learn and gain more pratical knowledge. Good infrastructure.
All faculty are friendly and well trained they are help in every situation.

What I didn’t like

Some of the faculty have partiality over students.
Hostel warden staffs are rude. And the Mess fee payment is not satisfied.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility criteria for Placement was no history of arrear during the final semester. Many top companies came for recruit like L&T, Valeo, KINGFA etc. average package is about 5 to 8 LPA. Everyone got placed.

Remarks:

Our friends and family members suggest me to take this college. For gaining theoretical and pratical knowledge on plastics and polymers and processing. I didn't have any group discussion for admission but I wrote TANCET for entrance.

College life..

What I Liked

College infrastructure and campus life is good
Faculties and environment around the college is good

What I didn’t like

Small institute compare to others.
Sometimes the food in hostel are not good

Placement Experience:

Good placement in college. Eligibility is some company requires 7.5 + cgpa . Recently visited recruiters are ather,valeo,Larson and toubro etc.. Salary packages is between 5 lakh per anuum to 12 lakh and more. 100 percent placement.

Remarks:

The good aspect of this college is it has good placement and training.the admission process is done only by the TNEA counselling and by lateral entry and some lapse entry .The average cut off is 150 above.

Me and my college

What I Liked

Free rules and regulations in college campus.
Neat and clean college campus with all necessary requirements.

What I didn’t like

Play ground space in less compare to other colleges
Here Spoon feeding learning can't see, individual students have to improve their talents.

Placement Experience:

As this was the only course that is offered in this college , the placement recruitment are from central and tamilnadu, many companies that are required to have a skill full Manufacturing Engineer . Individual have to do internship in our college or any other companies to need employment.

Remarks:

As I already told that I entered this college through tnea counselling, this course is an unique course which can't be seen in other colleges. Only in CIPET and CEG(anna university) .The average cutoff required here is 170/200.

CIPET: IPT, Chennai - A Simple Over View

What I Liked

Liberty, we can choose to be in the library or shop floor over classes which is not prohibited.
The infrastructure in the classroom, quite good, and good ventilated

What I didn’t like

No separate auditorium with large capacity which feels disappointing in some cases
Slow response form staff in every department, cause that will engage in many works.

Placement Experience:

Placements keep on rising but the market is dry, and students getting placed in campus interviews are likely in small numbers. But we had in contact with trending companies like Ather Energy which offered a good salary package for freshers. Good sign so far on the view of placements.

Remarks:

We have working models of most machines that we theoretically study in lectures. The opportunity of gaining real-time hands-on experience is highly possible as there are no strict rules to gain knowledge wherever you love. Rules are pretty good enough, but all staff belongs to the technical department. No professional teaching staff, so having their lecture is like once in a blue moon. We have the complete right to learn whatever we want. Cultures are very very limited likely 1 or 2 I guess.

Empowering in field of plastic technology

What I Liked

Here the water facility are good and the stage everything is neat and clean Our college has all manufacturing machine which are not available in other colleges
Our canteen has ac and very offorable price it is very useful for our college students

What I didn’t like

We didn't gave any celebration which are happening in other clg and there is no dust bin
There no good food for our clg students and there is no canteen facility in our clg

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good! Basically in our lot of practical oriented skill we gained and job opportunities is also high in a good package
Campus life was good...culturals events and tech events and sports events are happen and freshers day also conducted

What I didn’t like

Basically this is government College so we study in our own concerns and staff coming to the classes in bit slow onlly in coming to the 2nd year
Ground facilities is major problem in our college is too small....and canteen is big but items are in canteen is too less

What I Liked

I like in CIPET is they provide a practical knowledge and it can be applied in variety of industrial application because they have more lab facilities and easily accessible
The infrastructure is quite good and decent also

What I didn’t like

The main problem in CIPET is faculty did not come to college regularly and they did not provide essential notes
The college did not provide any extra curricular activities and there is no ground to play also
