I like biology so chose this biotechnology course as I didn't get medicine stream. Teaching is good and study materials are provided but students need to put extra efforts to score good marks apart from it. 2 Sem per year.

The curriculum is well structured and industry focused,regularly updated to align modern advancements in all department like textile,food,leather and chemical.The faculty members are highly qualified with most holding PhD degrees in their respective feilds.Exams are conducted as per schedule.

For my department, all staffs are very friendly and helpful in all stages. For leather technology, theory and practical all are going simultaneously so it's easy to understand and this method will help to understand the industry knowledge of leather. The exams will happens twice a year (semester) in between two assessments and lab practical also done in every semester. The fee for this course is a maximum of 20000 per semester. The college will arrange scholarships for students who want financial support. Other than department also arranges some support. The college arranges community scholarships.

The course is quite tough in my opinion. You need to be mentally prepared to pursue this course as it has the toughest subjects. I was able to score well in the first two semesters due to the presence of engineering courses, but in the third semester, we had core subjects, which were very tough and I saw a decline in my CGPA since then. But you can ace them if you're mentally strong. The faculties are well trained and they'll teach well. Some faculties find it difficult to teach. You can avail of a lot of scholarships if you belong to special categories, and the course fee is the cheapest as compared to other engineering colleges.

I chose textile technology,cuz it's different from other ordinary course like cs,it,ece,eee etc The staffs in textile department are amazing They are student friendly and teaches us everything related to textile and clear our doubts anytime
