TCE Madurai is an engineering college established in 1957. The college is affiliated to Anna University. It has been approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC. According to the NIRF 2024 reports, the college is ranked #101 out of 300 under the ‘Engineering’ category.

TCE Madurai offers B.E as its flagship program. It offers both Aided and Non-Aided programs. The fee for B.E (Aided) for the academic year 2024 is INR 68K and the fee for B.E (Non-Aided) for the academic year 2024 is INR 3.28 lakhs. To be eligible for admission, a candidate must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in the relevant stream from a recognized board. TCE Madurai also offers admission to the M.E program. It only offers a Self-Supporting course. The fee for M.E (Self Supporting) for the academic year 2024 is INR 2.6 lakhs. To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have completed a B.E degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. TCE Madurai Placement report for the academic year 2024 is yet to be released. However, the placement report for the academic year 2023 received the highest package of INR 21 LPA and an average package of INR 7.25 LPA. The top recruiting companies from the previous placement drives were TVS Motors, Tata Consultancy Services (Digital), TITAN, KLA Tencor, Ford, Honeywell, Hyundai, Cognizant, Accenture, and many other competitive organizations.
