The placements were good and decent for this college. if we have a CGPA of more then 8 or 8.5 we are eligible for all companies. some companies will ask history of arrears and current arrears. highest package is 9.5LPA and the lowest is around 1.5LPA. mostly all students will get placed. but last two years it was like 60 to 70 percent.

Many companies visit our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered is 3.7 LPA. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs.16,000 per month. If students are good in academics, our college will allow them to do internships. From the 7th semester, students with and above 7.5 CGPA and no arrears are eligible for placements. Many students got placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho, and Amazon. Infrastructure: The hostel provides facilities like well-sophisticated rooms, heaters, generators, fans, lights, and separate cots. The restrooms are clean. The hostel rooms are clean every day. The food is very good and hygienic. Laboratories are good.

Due to the recession, the placement is ok in our college. The majority of us got placed at least with a packaged company. But if you have something inside you, don't worry you will be placed with a minimum of 3 lpa. There is no way to get placed in a core company except mech, it, cs. Because the majority of the companies that we attended are related or mech a background.

Velammal in 2021 had placements for students for about 91%. But in recent times it had dropped, due to the corona lockdown backlash. But it will rise the placement opportunities. For Zoho, Accenture,hcl, a Minimum of 7 cgpa is required But based on a few companies it is 8cgpa for attending placement. The average pack is 4-9LPA. The highest pack is 20LPA.
