Very good qualified staff with good teaching knowledge Review of Velammal College of Engineering and Technology. Placements: Placements are good in our college. Many companies visit our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered is 3.7 LPA. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs.16,000 per month. If students are good in academics, our college will allow them to do internships. From the 7th semester, students with and above 7.5 CGPA and no arrears are eligible for placements. Many students got placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho, and Amazon. Infrastructure: The hostel provides facilities like well-sophisticated rooms, heaters, generators, fans, lights, and separate cots. The restrooms are clean. The hostel rooms are clean every day. The food is very good and hygienic. Laboratories are good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
By my father's suggestion, I joined this college. Best College In Madurai for Good Teaching and Placement. Placements: Total of 40 Students in a class. The highest Package was 20 LPA. The package was 5 LPA. The lowest Package was 3 LPA. Top Companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, L&T. 80% per cent of students got the internship. The top roles offered are Site Engineer, Project Manager, and Building Designer. Infrastructure: Total of 6 Different courses are offered. Each course has separate department and laboratory facilities. Excellent Canteen with good food and service. Affordable hostel facilities. Playground for different sports and a spacious parking lot. Bus transport is also available. Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and friendly. Course curriculum of Anna University. Semester exams are in the best way possible to test the knowledge of students. The pass percentage is 95. Students are trained in a highly qualified education system and trained to be placed in Best Companies.
Campus Life :
Campus Life 3/5 They have pretty academic-related tech programs that offer puzzle games and coding games. They conduct a symposium every year that ultimately tells you to do a project and perform it in front of the judges. The classrooms are large enough to accommodate 50 students. They don't focus much on sports as the campus is not sufficient to conduct sports activities. As this college focuses mainly on academics there are no ways to have a student club or student elections.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.

Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
