Likes
- The main thing I likes about my college is that we can see the entire college from any one end, because our college campus got one building for college and two buildings for school.
- When you entered your final sem you will free as you can leave the college anytime you want.
Dislikes
- There is no proper maintenance of ground for sports. And no proper training is given to the players and athletes.
- Faculties won't support you even if don't do anything wrong.You should wear formal shoes during your entire time in college.
Remarks :
I joined this college because some of my relatives suggested that this is one of the best colleges in Madurai. There is no test for getting admission to this college. We just need to apply for engineering counseling conducted by Tnea. If the cut-off we secured is enough then surely the seat is ours.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I studied under the Anna University syllabus. But after our batch the college acquired autonomy and they regulated their syllabus which is very good compared with us. They are careful in creating the course syllabus. They removed all the outdated subject syllabi and included the current updates required for getting a job.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I don't get any internship offers. Some of my friends got placed as interns in customer service or something related to that. But some of them have a developer role in it The companies will select you as an intern and train you for that whole time without giving any work on the projects. If you performed well during that training period you will receive a job.
Placement Experience :
Due to the recession, the placement is ok in our college. The majority of us got placed at least with a packaged company. But if you have something inside you, don't worry you will be placed with a minimum of 3 lpa. There is no way to get placed in a core company except mech, it, cs. Because the majority of the companies that we attended are related or mech a background.
Campus Life :
When you plan to join VCET you should not think about social life. They conduct sports for just 1hr. There will be no celebration nothing to enjoy your college life. Coming to Industrial Visit the time given will be 12hrs. From morning 6 to evening 6, everyone should return to their houses. I am a day scholar so I don't know much about hostels. But based on my friend's experience, the food quality is good not more than that. One good thing about this college there is one PT period a week.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
