MEAEC Admission 2026

MEAEC grants admission on the basis of merit scores in the latest qualifying examination and entrance exams such as KEAM. Students applying for B.Tech programs are selected through KEAM scores.

MEAEC Infrastructure & Campus

MEAEC is situated on a calm, eco-friendly campus at Vengoor, near Perinthalmanna, in Malappuram district, Kerala. The campus is spread across a green area and offers an academic setting suited to technical education. Facilities include smart classrooms, a canteen, a guest house and bus services.

Auditorium: The college auditorium has a fixed stage and can seat up to 1000 audience members comfortably.

Sports Complex: The college conducts Sports Meet through the Department of Physical Education and supports participation in inter-collegiate events. The college team has also played in different state-level championships.

Board Rooms: The board room facility is suitable for mid-sized meetings and accommodates up to 25 guests in conference room seating. It has movable chairs, a projector, screen, podium and computer station.

Library: The library has 20,000 volumes of books, 1000+ journals, project reports, audio-visual aids and related resources.

MEAEC Hostel

MEAEC offers hostel facilities for students, with separate hostel buildings for boys and girls on campus. All hostel buildings have 24/7 WiFi internet connectivity, a recreation hall, a gym and a game room. The girls' hostel also has 24/7 security. Laundry service is available to all students at nominal charges.

The annual hostel fee is INR 4,000 - 7,000. Each student must pay Rs. 5000/- as a caution deposit at the time of admission. The caution deposit is not refunded before completion of the course.

Hostel rent is fixed by the Management Committee from time to time. Rent must be paid in advance every year at the beginning of the academic year. Hostel admission is granted for each academic year. Students who leave mid-way must pay room rent for the full year.

MEAEC Scholarships

MEAEC scholarships are offered on the basis of merit, minority status and reservation status. The college provides free scholarships to eligible students and offers scholarships for brilliant students along with the fee waiver scheme introduced by AICTE.

A cash prize of INR 10,000/- is awarded to first rank holders, while second rank holders receive INR 5,000/-.
