NITTTR facilitates admission in both offline and online modes. The candidates seeking admission into master’s and Ph.D. programs must go through the following procedure:

How to Apply?

  • Candidates must visit the official website of the institute www.nitttrchd.ac.in
  • Register for admission on the website.
  • Fill in the application form with correct details of personal details, marks obtained, previous institute, etc.
  • Pay the registration fees of INR 2000 online via NEFT/ RTGS to the Director, NITTTR Chandigarh or a DD to be made in respect of the same amount in favor of NITTTR.
  • Hard copy of the form and necessary documents should be attached and mailed to the institute for the completion of the application process.

NITTTR Facilities

  1. Sports and Games: Sports like Badminton Court, Table Tennis Court, Carrom Board, Volleyball Playground, Cricket Playground, etc. An Inter NITTTR Sports Meet is organized every year by the institute and this institute won several medals like gold, silver, and bronze medals.
  2. Hostel: Hostels like Mother Teresa Hall for girls, Chandra Shekhar Hall for Boys, Tagore Hall for Boys, etc possess facilities like hot water, water cooler, gym, and mess facilities. The mess is quite hygienic and offers nutritional meals with a capacity of 60-70 students. They offer breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Students can go for snacks in the normal canteen.

Central Library: The Library is gigantic and contains around 50,000 books, journals, research papers, CDs, etc. Study materials are provided for all courses including semester examinations and competitive examinations which can be accessed by both students and faculties for their research and knowledge.
