RCPIT Admission Process 2026

RCPIT conducts admissions online. Candidates seeking entry into the first year or second year are admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). For BTech admission, Maharashtra State candidates must have passed HSC or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical, or Vocational Subjects. They must have secured at least 45% marks in these subjects, while OBC and PWD candidates from Maharashtra must have at least 40%.

For BTech Lateral Entry, Maharashtra and All India candidates must have passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject. They must also have passed a diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks, while OBC and PWD candidates from Maharashtra need 40%. Candidates who have passed BSc from UGC or any university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities with at least 45% marks are also eligible. For PhD admission, candidates must hold a Master's degree in the relevant field.

  • Candidates must first register for the MHT CET exam and obtain non-zero marks.
  • Applicants can complete MHT CET registration online through the official CET Cell website, cell.mahacet.org.
