Applicants seeking admission to the B.E./B.Tech programmes at RIT Chennai must have completed 10+2 / HSC (Academic & Vocational) and meet the following eligibility criteria:

Minimum Average Marks Requirement

• Open Category: Minimum 50% average in the qualifying examination

• Backward Category: Minimum 45% average

• Most Backward Category: Minimum 40% average

• SC / ST Category: Pass in the qualifying examination

Additional Conditions:

• JEE scores may be considered for merit-based management admissions.

• Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST must have passed the qualifying examination within two attempts.
