A day in the life of an amitian

What I Liked

There are many food options in the campus and near the campus. We have the following food options inside the campus - Ccd Dominos Subway Nirulas Chai garam And many more
Students also get car parking in the campus which is a very convenient thing to have, there are 3 car parkings inside the college and we can park in any of them according to our block

What I didn’t like

We have to maintain 75% attendance which is not an easy thing to do, failing to maintain 75% attendance gets you debarred and then we have to pay an additional fee to give the exam.
The fees is very high and as i have heard the placement isnt good. The reputation of amity is really bad, people call it the last option

Placement Experience:

There arent many job opportunities after completing undergraduate degrees especially if the college isnt the top 20. The placements after bcom are horrible in amity and you have to pursue mba from a good college in order to get a good placement. We have an incubation centre which gives funding to startups opened by students

Remarks:

I chose this college as it was a 20 min drive from my house and i wanted to experience my college life to the fullest and amity university is known for it. The admission process was very simple all i had to do was apply online and it asked me 3 questions which i had to answer while recording myself and i got the acceptance letter in 2-3 days.

All About Amity University Noida,UP

What I Liked

Happening Campus Life, Free style Culture, Promotes Creativity, Well Experienced Faculty and Guidance
Like wise Minded People and Students , Supportive management and Very interesting curriculum

What I didn’t like

Attendence is a major drawback in Amity which limits the students to classes and Also make ms the student many opportunities
Show offs and flex is a very normal thing In Amity which is quite annoying and disturbing

Placement Experience:

Students who score above 5 CGPA gets eligible for placement. Companies like BIG 4 also visits Amity for placements and There visits very good and reputated companies and offers a good Package most of the times. The average package after my Bcom (H) is 3-5LPA and the highest goes to 10-12LPA at the post of Assistant account or HR Ass. Head and Finance Profiles. Amity has a good of approx 95% rate of placements. I will also sit in the placements and If I got a good offer I will take it otherwise I am going to Join mg Family Business

Remarks:

I was not able to get admissions in DU or any other Govt. colleges and I found Amity almost best in all private colleges so I chose to get admitted in choosing Bcom (H) as my course and I am quite satisfied with the university and faculty.
