PIMR Indore has different admission timelines for UG, law, LLM, Ph.D, and MBA programmes. UG admissions for BBA, BCA, B.Com, and BAJMC are open for the 2026-27 session. MBA specialisations at PIMR include Marketing Management, Financial Administration, Human Resource Management, International Business, Advertising and Public Relations, and Business Analytics. PIMR Indore Admission Process

PIMR Indore uses separate admission routes for MBA, UG, and law programmes. MBA is the flagship course and has the most competitive selection process.

MBA Admission

Eligible students who register for MBA admission have to appear for a three-stage evaluation:

• PIMR Admission Test, which is mandatory
• Group Discussion (GD)
• Personal Interview (PI)

The final merit list is prepared from a consolidated score sheet. It considers:

• PIMR Admission Test score
• Group Discussion performance
• Personal Interview performance
• Past academic record, including Class X, Class XII, and graduation marks

For merit preparation, PIMR considers the higher percentile obtained either in the PIMR Admission Test or in a national-level or state-level management entrance exam such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA.

UG admission depends on Class 12 marks and a university-level entrance assessment.

Law Programs Admission

For 5-year integrated law courses such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, and B.Com LLB, admission is based on Class 12 merit or CLAT scores. The 3-year LLB (Hons.) is open to graduates.

• 5-year integrated law courses: Class 12 with at least 45%, with CLAT score or university entrance test
• 3-year LLB (Hons.): Graduation with at least 45% and university entrance test
• LLM: LLB or equivalent degree with 55%

PIMR Indore Placements

PIMR Indore placements are led mainly by the MBA programme, which brings in the largest share of campus hiring. In the 2024-25 season, the institute reports 783 students placed across all programmes and an overall placement rate of more than 90%. The highest package was INR 20.5 LPA, the average package was INR 6.0 LPA, and recent NIRF data lists the median package at INR 4.74 LPA.
