Sinhgad College of Science (SCOS) in Ambegaon, Pune, is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in science and related fields. Academics and Faculty: Students have generally expressed satisfaction with the academic environment and faculty. What I didn’t like

Placements & Career Opportunities Many students feel that the placement opportunities are not strong enough. Only a limited number of companies visit the campus, and most of the job offers are for basic roles with average salary packages. 2. Management & Administration Some students have reported delays in administrative work, including exam results, certificates, and other official procedures. There have been complaints about mismanagement in organizing events and handling student concerns. 3. Fees & Expenses The fee structure is considered slightly expensive for the quality of services provided. Some students feel that hostel and mess fees are high compared to the facilities offered. 4. Infrastructure Maintenance While the college has good infrastructure, some students have noted that maintenance could be better. Lab equipment and library resources need regular updates.

Placement Experience:

You need to clear 3rd year if you want to get in college interview round and almost 75% students get jobs Tata has visited the campus and NIV too And the highest package was 9lakhs per annum 75% students get placement My plans after degree is to complete my masters and then I'll get job

Remarks:

Very nice teacher's labs are well maintained and the bad thing is that they'll explain most of the things in Marathi and I'm not able to understand it You need to have over 75% attendance to fill exam form then only you'll be able to write your exam It was easy just learn what Teachers have told

My college my campus

What I Liked

The infrastructure of my college is also very good. Many of jeans. Library is in my college campus.
The faculty of my college is also decent. They provide us proper value.

What I didn’t like

There is nothing in my Campus to hate it, but some things are also hated by many students. For example, some boys who misbehave with girls after college.
My infrastructure of college is very good, but at some part of lab is leaking in rainy season

Placement Experience:

In the Sinhgad college of science placement sale, and and job opportunities are good. There are many opportunity which gives from our college to students. Many companies per every year, visit our campus like Tech Mahindra Infosys and Tata.

Remarks:

There are manufacture to make my decision, strong to take admission in this college because I like the campus of the college and also faculty for a BCA degree. This college is good and better than other college in Pune.

What I Liked

I like to live in campus life is too good everything is available all facilities are there in campus also the nature is too good and all departments students are there it's good for us to make friends and enjoyment also
College is nice even teaching is too nice every one is helpful with the studys

What I didn’t like

In campus life in summer season there is problem of water that the problem in campus that I dislike.
In college there is not individual day or festival that I need from my side even not have individual day or festival

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm learning the course microbiology because I have a too much interested in biological life and do something experiment and so research on the any natural or I love to do work on microorganisms, bacteria,fungi also I love to work in lab and in future I want to open a lab also so I taken this course. Teaching methods is too good they go through the book, pdf notes and also handwritten notes also they help us in every problem, all teachers are like friends and they support us and teach us fantastic . Exam are too noo hard too much but in semester exam have a little hard but if we study that will be also easy everything come from book so I don't think paper are any difficult.

Remarks:

My reason for take admission in this college because I was taking admission in Ferguson college but because of my category i didn't get that college and my second option was sinhgad college because I get that here they give a good education so I taken admission in this college. I never faced any problem in my college seriously I'm saying this no problem I faced in my college also there is no test exam for admission, admission through the 12th marks they give u admission after applying the form

An Insight to My College Life

What I Liked

Good college infrastructure, well maintained Library, hostels are accessible, clean and neat canteen
Great, educated and very knowledgeable faculty, they really make our work easy

What I didn’t like

As I am more into old antique buildings, a new constructed building allures me quite less but cant help it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always been charmed with the Biotechnology field/ industry.. I had already chosen this field before I was done with my tenth boards.. I am glad I have been able to get an admission in the field I had aimed for.. All faculties teaching are doctorates having phds, and masters degree.. they are great and are really helpful.. academically the college is great.. The term papers are set by the Pune University and have a fair difficulty level

Remarks:

It is one of the most reputed institutions in Pune. I majorly chose this college as it is directly affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Has great faculty and curriculum along with great extracurriculars and fests, workshops and other activities

What I Liked

The building management and parking space is huge as there are lots of students
And also every buildi Has given a unique name according to fort name and thats very interesting and fun to remember

What I didn’t like

There is nothing to dislike the college except the teaching method like i really dont like the teaching methodd as they do not take students seriously and excep that thing all the things are good and welll

Placement Experience:

Thw highest offered job was 6 lakh but don’t depend n campus placements and search uour job on yourown as placements are not as we want because there are only few students get selected and most of the interns don’t get job according to their need

Remarks:

I chose this college because i wanted to do a part time job also as ti manage my expenses and after giving application that was possible and if u need want to work and study then this college is good as attendance is not compulsory if u give the application and ither sports activities are also held in college like karandak , cultural fest and Carnivals which is much exciting

What I Liked

Hygiene is maintained so properly which is very satisfactory
All the teaching and non teaching staff is very friendly

What I didn’t like

Active participation in intercollegiate is not proper
Sometimes it's difficult for students to cope with the proper guidance

Course Curriculum Overview:

Annual fees of 60000 are charged on average every year but out of it caste wise scholarship is provided by the government through the scheme of mahadbt scholarships. The whole course is of 3 years divided into 6 semesters.

Remarks:

Admission is a direct process with no need for any entrances and interviews just an eligibility of 12th passed with a minimum score of 50% for the general category. Since it's a biological stream the +2 grouping needs biology as a must

About theirs rush my college in city so many people are there

Placement Experience:

Currently, I am in the last semester of my BBA(CA) course. Placement has started but I have not selected yet I am trying my best. But all-over-campus placement is good. The top MNC companies are coming for freshers recruitment.

Remarks:

I know about the college through the help of my relative. My relative and guardian suggested me to select the college. I have chosen the BBA. CA(Computer Application) is similar to BCA. I have learned lots of things about the IT industry and programming languages.
