Sinhgad College of Science provides limited internship opportunities, and students often have to find internships on their own. The college does offer guidance through faculty and external collaborations, but dedicated placement support for internships could be improved. I personally secured an internship in the medical field, which provided hands-on experience in laboratory work, medical research, and healthcare applications. This internship helped me gain practical knowledge and apply theoretical concepts in a real-world setting. However, students looking for internships in other domains, such as IT and biotechnology, may need to search for external opportunities. Overall, while the college provides some internship support, students are encouraged to be proactive in securing internships relevant to their career goals.

Sinhgad College of Science provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls within the campus. The hostels are well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay for students. Hostel Infrastructure: The rooms are spacious and clean, available in both shared and single occupancy. Each room is furnished with beds, study tables, chairs, and cupboards. 24/7 security is provided for student safety. The hostel has Wi-Fi connectivity, but the speed can sometimes be inconsistent. Common areas, TV rooms, and sports facilities are available for students. Mess & Food Quality: The hostel mess serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, with a variety of meals. Some students feel the food quality is decent, but repetitive at times. There are canteens and food courts on campus as alternative options. How to Apply for a Hostel Room: Students need to fill out a hostel application form available at the administration office or on the official college website.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
