AISSMS College of Engineering Admission Dates 2027

BE admission at AISSMSCOE is done through the DTE Maharashtra Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Students can apply with MHT-CET or JEE Main scores. The 2027-28 cycle is expected to begin in mid-2027.

For MTech admission in 2027-28, students will need to follow the Maharashtra MAH-M.Tech-MCA-CET or GATE route. DTE Maharashtra will manage PG counselling on a similar schedule.

AISSMS College of Engineering Courses and Fees

AISSMSCOE runs nine BE specialisations, BE Lateral Entry in the same nine streams, six MTech specialisations, and PhD courses in five disciplines. The BE fee for General quota students is the same for all nine streams at INR 6,64,944 for four years. The two-year MTech fee is INR 1,81,000.

The four-year BE fee under the Management quota is INR 21,90,712. Yearly hostel charges, including lodging and mess, are INR 1,05,000 to INR 1,40,000 for female students and INR 1,30,000 to INR 1,35,000 for male students.

AISSMS College of Engineering Admission Process

BE Admission

AISSMSCOE fills BE seats through the DTE Maharashtra CAP system. Students need the required Class 12 subjects and a valid entrance score.

• Eligibility: Students must pass 10+2 or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. General category students need at least 45% aggregate marks, while reserved category students need 40%.
• Entrance exam: MHT-CET PCM paper and JEE Main Paper 1 scores are accepted for CAP counselling.
• CAP counselling: DTE Maharashtra fills 80% of seats through centralised CAP rounds. Students register on the DTE portal, enter college preferences, and get seats according to percentile and category.
• Institute-level quota: The remaining 20% of seats are offered through direct institute-level admission to students who meet the basic eligibility rules.

For Computer Engineering, the MHT-CET 2025 CAP Round 1 closing score at AISSMSCOE was 97 percentile for the General Open category. Branches such as Mechanical and Civil usually close at lower percentile ranges in later rounds.

BE Lateral Entry

Students with a diploma or BSc degree with Physics and Mathematics can apply for direct second-year BE admission through the DTE Maharashtra Lateral Entry CAP. They must have at least 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying diploma or BSc degree.

MTech and PhD Admission

MTech admission is based on a valid GATE score or MAH-M.Tech-MCA-CET 2026 score, followed by DTE Maharashtra PG CAP counselling. SPPU conducts PhD admission through a centralised entrance test, usually twice a year.

AISSMS College of Engineering Placements

During the 2023-24 placement season, AISSMSCOE placed 311 students from a graduating batch of 767. The median package was INR 3.40 LPA. The reported average package across batches is INR 4.50 LPA, and the highest package recorded so far is INR 45 LPA. Most placements come from IT and Computer Engineering branches.

The college’s Pune location connects students with IT services firms, manufacturing companies, and automotive employers. Computer Engineering and AI/ML students mainly receive offers from IT service recruiters, while Mechanical and Electrical students also get opportunities from Pune’s core industry cluster.

TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and IBM are among the regular IT services recruiters. Cybage Software and Tech Mahindra have also hired students often. Core branches receive recruiters from Pune’s manufacturing and automotive sectors, including L&T, Mahindra, and Tata Motors.

AISSMS College of Engineering Rankings

AISSMS College of Engineering took part in the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking process but was not listed among the ranked institutes. AISSMS College of Engineering Campus and Infrastructure

AISSMSCOE has an 11-acre campus on Kennedy Road in Shivajinagar, Pune. Students considering AISSMSCOE often compare it with Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT Pune) and Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE). All three colleges are in the Pune metropolitan region, are affiliated with SPPU, and admit students through the MHT-CET-based process.

VIT Pune, established in 1983, is the oldest college among the three and has a higher national NIRF Engineering rank, along with stronger placement outcomes in technology product roles. PCCOE is in the Pimpri-Chinchwad industrial belt, which helps Mechanical and Automobile Engineering students connect with automotive manufacturing companies. AISSMSCOE has the most central location because its Kennedy Road campus is near Pune’s civic hub. All three colleges award the SPPU degree and follow the MHT-CET admission route.
