Pune Vidhyarthi Griha's College of Engineering and Technology (PVGCOET), was established as an unaided college in 1985 under the parent PVG Institute. It is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University and accredited ‘A’ by NAAC. It is also approved by the AICTE and accredited by the NBA.

PVGCOET offers BTech as its flagship course. To be eligible for admission, candidates should secure 45% marks (40% in the case of reserved categories) in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The final selection will be based on the JEE Mains or the MHT CET exam scores. The PVGCOET cutoff for JEE Mains 2023 for the general category BTech admission ranges from 3884 - 25226. The PVGCOET fees for BTech is INR 4.59 lakhs for all specializations.

PVGCOET Placements 2024 concluded with 301 placement offers provided to students. The highest CTC recorded was INR 21.5 LPA and the average CTC stood at INR 4.71 LPA. Some of the recruiters were Atlas Copco, Harman, Visteon, HSBC, Cytel, Balmer Lawrie, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, etc.
