ABS Admission Dates 2027

The upcoming admission schedule applies to the 2027-29 MBA batch. It begins with CAT 2026 and continues through the ABS application, GD, PI and offer stages.

ABS Courses and Fees

ABS Noida provides a standard full-time MBA, 11 specialised MBA options and a PhD in Management Studies. The standard MBA and MBA Finance have the highest listed MBA fee, while the other specified MBA tracks follow a lower fee structure.

The MBA specialisations include Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing and Sales, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Retail Management and Information Technology. Hostel accommodation costs between INR 1,00,000 and INR 1,85,000 per year.

ABS Admission Process

MBA Admission

Applicants to the ABS Noida MBA must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. There is no age restriction. Selection takes place through an entrance examination followed by GD and PI rounds.

• Stage 1 - Entrance examination: Submit a valid CAT score, with an 85 percentile general-category cutoff, or a score from XAT, NMAT, MAT, GMAT or CMAT. The MAT requirement is 90 percentile. Applicants may also take the Amity Written Test on the interview day.
• Stage 2 - Take part in the Group Discussion (GD).
• Stage 3 - Attend the Personal Interview (PI).

The final composite score considers the entrance exam percentile, previous academic performance, GD result and PI result. Relevant work experience receives positive weight during the interview stage.

PhD Admission

Admission to the PhD in Management Studies requires an MBA or another equivalent postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks. UGC NET or GATE qualification is preferred. Applicants take Amity University’s entrance test and interview, and they must present a research proposal during the interview.

ABS Cutoffs and Accepted Exams

ABS accepts several national management entrance examinations along with its own selection process. The applicable examination and cutoff depend on the programme.

ABS Placements

During the 2024 placement season, ABS Noida reported a highest package of INR 26.30 LPA, an average package of INR 7.35 LPA and a median package of INR 6.50 LPA. The recruitment process involved 202 companies, of which 105 were first-time recruiters.

Recruitment covered consulting, IT, FMCG, e-commerce and financial services. Deloitte, Godrej, Mphasis, Wipro, Adobe, Accenture, TCS, Flipkart and Microsoft were among the confirmed recruiters in 2024. Most offers across these sectors went to students from the Finance, Marketing and HR specialisations.

The participation of 202 companies, including more than 100 new organisations, shows the reach of Amity University’s corporate connections in the NCR region and other locations.

ABS Rankings

In the NIRF 2025 Management category, ABS Noida secured the 24th rank, moving up from 29th in 2024. The school has ACBSP international accreditation, while Amity University holds a NAAC A+ grade. ACBSP accreditation is uncommon among Indian business schools outside the IIM group.

Accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs assesses ABS against international standards for business education. Amity University’s NAAC A+ grade covers its institutional performance in areas such as teaching, research and infrastructure.

ABS Campus and Infrastructure

ABS forms part of Amity University’s 85-acre campus in Noida Sector 125, Uttar Pradesh. The site contains several academic blocks and a central library with more than 1.25 lakh books and access to 17,000 online journals. Its auditoriums together seat over 3,500 people. The 15-acre sports complex includes a swimming pool, shooting range and horseback riding facility.

Boys and girls have separate hostel facilities, with yearly charges ranging from INR 1,00,000 to INR 1,85,000. Students can also use several dining options on the campus. The Sector 125 location is close to major IT and corporate offices along the NCR corridor, supporting recruitment opportunities for MBA students.

ABS Scholarships

ABS Noida awards merit-based tuition waivers according to a student’s Class 12 and graduation results. The main scholarship levels offer 100%, 50% or 20% tuition support.

Scholarship eligibility is checked during admission and depends on academic marks rather than the entrance exam percentile. State Board students with at least 90% in Class 12 may use the 20% waiver route. Each scholarship applies only to the tuition portion of the annual fee.

ABS vs IMT Ghaziabad vs FORE School of Management

MBA applicants in the NCR who score between 85 and 90 percentile in CAT may consider ABS Noida, IMT Ghaziabad and FORE School of Management, New Delhi. These three private business schools have comparable admission cutoffs and fee ranges.

IMT Ghaziabad has the highest average placement range and CAT cutoff among the three, along with a stronger brand presence in the NCR corporate market. FORE School of Management combines a fee range similar to ABS with a central New Delhi location. ABS has the higher NAAC grade and draws on Amity University’s larger campus facilities and corporate network.
