Cms is a great college to socialise and make connections

What I Liked

Cms infrastructure is small as compared to other college but has a great social life and cms is also known to make connections and people are open to try new things and explore in the college and there are many community

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is small and they don’t have college canteen

Placement Experience:

Great placements are given to the eligible students. I have chosen marketing as my field and I will like to opt for a job in that field only and will try to learn more from the placement and it will be the basic but I am open to learn new things

Internships Opportunities:

Yes I have opted for an internship which was offered from college itself and I did the internship for 2 months which was a paid internship it was 5000 per month I did social media marketing as an intern

The cms things

What I Liked

Infra is good but no campus college like will be great
Everything is good overall can enjoy the college life

What I didn’t like

Campus is really small like even you don't have a group of something to play sports
But yet we do have every sports in the college

Placement Experience:

Placements and the internship are really good here they focus on every students for the internships and placements with proper training and observation where students need to undergo 3 internship accordingly

Internships Opportunities:

Yet not as I'm yet in 1st year but as recommended by seniors the internship are really good and moreover everything is good and excellent as each and every student need to take 3 internship for 3 semesters

The CMS Story

What I Liked

I really like the vast opportunities through the festing teams like Cultural Fest Team and Media Fest Team, which will let us showcase our skills out in front of a large audience in various stages in all colleges in and around bangalore.
We have a fully functional studio in the campus allowing us media students to experience the professional equipments and learn from it.

What I didn’t like

The college lacks area to play sports, so most sporting events have to be conducted outside campus
Being a business campus, there are more BBA students and having only 1 batch of BAJ makes it a little odd but since we always overpower it is okay.

Placement Experience:

Initially we were all briefed about placements and it requires 75% attendance and have to clear all backlogs if any by 4th semester to be eligible for the University Placements. Amazon is one of the top recruiting companies and I intend to pursue with the internships I have been trying for in Event Managing companies like Wizcraft and Shubharamb with the help of my teachers. The highest package is around 30 LPA, and whereas the average package is around 8.5 LPA.

Internships Opportunities:

I am looking forward to working as an intern for an event managing company based in Bangalore, Shubarambh. My Internship coordinator from the college connected me to this company and it will be a great learning for me being a part of this company. They offer 5k per month stipend.

What I Liked

College is in the heart of the city and its has a great faculty which is Highly qualified and the toastmasters international which they provide.
Club's , council , toastmasters international , placements , internships , industrial vists ....

What I didn’t like

Campus is like nice but there no feeling of university it's just a college type
No near by public transport and traffic to reach the college

Placement Experience:

The college it self has different department for placement and internships from 2nd year of the degree it's compulsory to do internships and college takes placement and internships very seriously. I have plans to continue my father's business. There are few criterias by the college of placements but the top recruiters of the country recruit students from our college the highest package - 42 lpa and median - 4.7 lpa

Internships Opportunities:

There are many famous international and national companies which offer interships and can pay you upto 30000 or spend money on your learning and I didn't want to do internship from the college because I was working at a company before but college offers great internshis

Life as an gulf kid in cms

What I Liked

International students have events once in a while in the main campus(jayanagar) I look forward to it every year. You get to meet ALL the international kids from different parts of the world
The college takes students with good attendance on industrial visits. They’ve taken us to Amul factory and Dairy day factory. SO MUCH FUN.

What I didn’t like

We don’t have a campus. But the short hours make up for it, you only have 4-5 hours of classes everyday then you’re free to go.
Groupism within students. All the Hindi speakers become friends, all the marwadis become friends and all the locals become friends. All this to hate on each other behind their backs.

Placement Experience:

College mails us with opportunities every day, you need to take the initiative to apply and perform. Haven’t sat for placement yet. They have an app called Superset. Third-years must register. They help with placements.

All about cms and jain university

What I Liked

I have mentioned it in the first paragraph Faculty and the placements .the faculty is pretty chill and it all depends on how you are with them , they can also be strict to you if you aren’t disciplined.
The other thing is crowd , because crowd matters for me as you will be there in that crowd for 3 years , you will get pretty mixed crowd which you will like , you don’t have to go find for your kinda people as it is a mixed crowd .

What I didn’t like

Very small campus not facilities for sports enthusiasts like ground and all in the college
Management is bit negative part of this college , they suck for their work and the delay they do for things to get done .

Placement Experience:

This is the first and foremost reason I joined CMS, you have really good placements here, they are all top companies that are there in the placement cell, if you manage to maintain your cup through your semesters you’ll be likely getting a campus placement, and from 2nd year you have to do a compulsory internship you will be having marks for that, they will help you get good companies for an internship or else you can find on your own. The internship should be done every sem for at least a month or two, and I plan to work in some good company after I graduate.

Internships Opportunities:

Zomato, vacay leisure travel pvt ltd, dialogues media. These are some good companies which I got my offer letters from, and then I joined Zomato of course a very well good company, and they were giving a good stipend which I can’t disclose, but on average, the stipend will be around 10-15k for internships, there will be internship fair help were you can go explore more companies in college itself, so internship is not a problem in this college and also you can do it from outside it is nothing as such that you have do it from college.

What I Liked

College infrastructure is simple and subtle and you dont need to run around to find your classes or something.
The campus life is very good as people here are from all the backgrounds and different cultures, you get to learn a lot
Facilities are pretty decent and faculty is average. They will teach you and give all their attention if you are willing to study

What I didn’t like

The campus is really small and there is less place to go around, there is no playground so you cant practice sports
I think there must be air conditioning in the classrooms as we are being charged a lot.
There is no canteen, campus life indeed could have been better

Placement Experience:

All of the students are eligible for placements unless they have significant amount of backlogs. Companies like Deloitte, EY and many more come for placements Highest package i have seen till now was around 25 lakhs There are placement opportunities for everyone so it depends upon the student whether they take it I am planning to complete my ACCA after my degree

Internships Opportunities:

I worked as a digital marketing analyst at mediacle I have wrote articles and learnt about how to build websites from scratch. I have managed there sites and our team actually built a new site from scratch
