- I really like the vast opportunities through the festing teams like Cultural Fest Team and Media Fest Team, which will let us showcase our skills out in front of a large audience in various stages in all colleges in and around bangalore.
- We have a fully functional studio in the campus allowing us media students to experience the professional equipments and learn from it.
Dislikes
- The college lacks area to play sports, so most sporting events have to be conducted outside campus
- Being a business campus, there are more BBA students and having only 1 batch of BAJ makes it a little odd but since we always overpower it is okay.
Remarks :
Well, I found about Jain through my CUET (Common University Entrance Test) university portal list, initially I was focused on enrolling through CUET and as the results were being delayed, I had to personally start registering for admission and I had an interview with the staff as an Entrance test, where I was asked questions related to myself and basic knowledge of the course I was opting for and also the reason I was interested in the course for. I had not thoroughly prepared for the interview which made me nervous, but the interviewer was nice enough to understand that and made me feel better. Mainly, I finalised my choice of college by setting criterias like placements, college faculty, internships, etc with the help of youtube videos and decided to take admission in Center For Management Studies, Jain Deemed- To- Be- University, Bangalore.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Bachelor Of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication was one of my primary options initially as the course had involvement in the creative field, where mainly I am interested in learning Event Management and as I saw the course includes this as well, It helped me to decide the course I would like to opt. The faculties here at CMS Jain is very determined as they all are well qualified and wish to help and grow with each and every student as they teach us new things. Most of the teachers in our department have earned doctorate in their respective interested subjects. Since, the class population is restricted to such a small number, the teachers are able to mentor every student specifically and more than just spoonfeeding, they'd rather teach us how to teach ourselves things we do not understand.
Internships Opportunities :
I am looking forward to working as an intern for an event managing company based in Bangalore, Shubarambh. My Internship coordinator from the college connected me to this company and it will be a great learning for me being a part of this company. They offer 5k per month stipend.
Placement Experience :
Initially we were all briefed about placements and it requires 75% attendance and have to clear all backlogs if any by 4th semester to be eligible for the University Placements. Amazon is one of the top recruiting companies and I intend to pursue with the internships I have been trying for in Event Managing companies like Wizcraft and Shubharamb with the help of my teachers. The highest package is around 30 LPA, and whereas the average package is around 8.5 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Fee is structured in yearly payment of 1,75,000rs and it varies for NRI students, whereas the total amount for 3 years sums upto 5,25,000rs and also an admission fee of 20,000rs as an one time payment in the beginning. There is no scholarship schemes yet, but students with harsh financial conditions can opt for LiquiLoan, a finance company having tie-up with the college where you can avail loan and pay the fees as 25,000rs every month for 7 months for each year also offering alongside 0% interest.
Campus Life :
CMS Jain Campus is located in Lalbagh, Bangalore and having a campus in the central region makes it convenient for many and the campus is filled with opportunities to excel in our own skills. The college let's you participate in lot of clubs like Yuva Ignited Minds and 3 different fest teams for which selections will be happening during initial days which are Cultural Fest Team, Management Fest Team, Media Fest Team. Participating in the following gives you more exposure to your creativity and let's you develop confidence and shine on stage in different occasions. College Library being the most serene place to go, The campus consists of a well designed studio, a vast computer lab, seminar halls, a gym and lot of such amenities. The classrooms are well ventilated and air conditioning facilities alongside projector as well is offered here.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
A review by a normal college student
Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.

We do see companies and lot of posters inside campus of placements Cgpa with above 8 are dligible for placements here and usually 4th year students are eligible Student named abhinav choudry was offered 52LPA last year from AIML and by company called AMD And in 2020 someone got placed 45lpa from amazon 52lpa was the highest here And the average for my course is around 6-7 lpa Percentage of students getting placed is around 65-80% rest do degree or may not be placed My plan is do m tech after getting degree here
