- International students have events once in a while in the main campus(jayanagar) I look forward to it every year. You get to meet ALL the international kids from different parts of the world
- The college takes students with good attendance on industrial visits. They’ve taken us to Amul factory and Dairy day factory. SO MUCH FUN.
Dislikes
- We don’t have a campus. But the short hours make up for it, you only have 4-5 hours of classes everyday then you’re free to go.
- Groupism within students. All the Hindi speakers become friends, all the marwadis become friends and all the locals become friends. All this to hate on each other behind their backs.
Remarks :
The admission process for international students is very easy, you’ll be assigned a counsellor who’ll help you with the process. I gave a personal interview which consisted of simple questions •introduce yourself •Why Jain University? •Why BBA •What are your goals? For domestic students, you need to clear the entrance test and a PI.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is quite vast they have multiple majors you can pick in your second year. Marketing, HR, Finance, Data analytics, international business etc. Once you pick up a major you cannot change it again. Faculty are well educated, and fluent in English, some are strict with attendance and no phones during class. Usage of presentations to teach and modules are sent once the lesson is completed. You will have two term examinations which are considered for your internal grades. The exams aren’t too difficult you can score well just by studying the modules.
Placement Experience :
College mails us with opportunities every day, you need to take the initiative to apply and perform. Haven’t sat for placement yet. They have an app called Superset. Third-years must register. They help with placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I’m an NRI student. I pay 325000 every year. You can ask your counsellor about scholarships. There is a govt scholarship that every student can apply for but you need to apply for it in your first year itself. I didn’t know back then. Fees for domestic students per year would be 250000 for BBA.
Campus Life :
All details of CMS fests are listed on their website. Fans, projectors and chalkboards are the only amenities in the classroom. Only seminar halls have ACs. One computer lab and a library with business-related books and previous year's research papers etc. MFT(management fest team) and CFT(cultural fest team) are the main fest clubs. MFT selections are only open in the first year. The selection process is hectic and long. MFT manages the fests and flow of events, they’re responsible for all of it. CFT includes dance, music, drama theatre, art and fashion. Selection isn’t linear you need to be good at what you do. It’s open to all years. MUN and sports clubs also exist. As an international student, it’s not been easy to mingle. The majority of the crowd are marwadis, locals and Jains.
Hostel Facilities :
I have friends who stayed in the hostels. Food is pathetic, unhygienic canteen area and repetitive food. It’s way too expensive as well. I’d suggest looking for PGs or an apartment instead. I stay in puzzles living- faith house(Koramangala) it’s much more affordable compared to the Jain hostel. Good rooms and decent food. No curfew as ;) 14k for double-sharing

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
