ISB Hyderabad Admission Dates 2027

ISB follows multiple application rounds for its PGP courses. The Class of 2028 will begin in April 2027, so the admission cycle is for the 2027 intake.

ISB Hyderabad Courses and Fees 2027

ISB Hyderabad offers 11 programmes, including the flagship PGP, executive PGP options, Advanced Management Programs, and the Executive Fellow Programme. The total fee range is INR 10.71 Lakhs to INR 52.98 Lakhs.

The flagship PGP includes consulting, finance, marketing, operations, strategy, and analytics. ISB does not run undergraduate courses. Its programmes are self-financing, and government-mandated fee caps do not apply.

ISB Hyderabad Admission Process 2027

Admission at ISB Hyderabad depends on the programme a student applies for. The institute checks academic history, work experience, test scores, essays, interview performance, and career goals.

PGP (Flagship One-Year MBA)

PGP is the main full-time programme at ISB Hyderabad. It is meant for professionals who want to change roles, move faster in their careers, or build stronger management skills. The batch usually has students with 6 to 8 years of work experience.

Eligibility for the PGP:

• A recognised bachelor's degree in any discipline
• At least 2 years of full-time work experience while applying, though many selected students have 4 to 8 years
• A valid GMAT or GRE score
• Selection through application review, video essays, personal interview, and final admission decision
• Recent admitted batches have had GMAT scores mostly in the 680 to 730 median range
• ISB does not announce a minimum cutoff, but strong applicants usually have GMAT scores above 700 or CAT scores at the 95th percentile or above

PGPPRO (Part-Time for Working Professionals)

PGPpro is for professionals with 4 or more years of experience who want to study management while continuing their jobs. The course is offered in Hyderabad and Delhi. Applicants need a bachelor's degree, at least 4 years of work experience, and a valid GMAT or GRE score.

PGPMAX (Senior Executives)

PGPMAX is a 15-month part-time programme for leaders with 10 or more years of managerial experience. Applicants with enough work experience can request a GMAT or GRE waiver. ISB reviews the application and conducts a personal interview that focuses on leadership experience and future plans.

PGP YL, PGPFMB, and Other Programmes

PGP YL accepts candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience through GMAT, GRE, or CAT scores. PGPFMB is for family business owners and successors, and applicants need a valid test score along with a clear link to a family enterprise. EFP is meant for senior professionals who want doctoral-level management research, and experienced candidates are assessed through their academic and professional profile without a standardised test requirement.

ISB Hyderabad Placements 2026

For the PGP Class of 2026, ISB received 1,117 offers for 808 students. This equals 1.38 offers per student. The average CTC was INR 37.29 LPA, which was an 11% increase from the previous year. The highest offer reached INR 1.56 crore per annum. The placement process is centralised for the Hyderabad and Mohali campuses.

Accenture made 100 or more offers. Mastercard and EY GDS each made 40 or more offers. Major recruiters included McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, PwC, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Unilever across consulting, technology, and BFSI. More than 250 companies joined the 2026 placement season.

In the Class of 2025 placements, Consulting and Professional Services made up 37% of offers. Technology followed with 28%, and BFSI had 11%. These three areas together formed more than 75% of placements in recent batches. ISB does not hold campus placements for PGPpro or PGPMAX because students in those programmes continue working. The published placement numbers are for the one-year full-time PGP only.

ISB Hyderabad Rankings 2026

ISB Hyderabad secured 12th globally in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2026. It was also the highest-ranked Indian institution ever on that list. Its position improved from 27th in 2025 and 31st in 2024. The Financial Times judges the one-year PGP through factors such as weighted salary, salary increase, career progress, and research rank.

On global rankings, ISB moved from 31st in 2024 to 12th in 2026. This rise reflects stronger salary results and career progress indicators from the Class of 2025 and Class of 2026 placement data.

ISB Hyderabad Scholarships

Each year, 25% of PGP students receive some form of financial help. ISB offers scholarships based on merit, need-cum-merit, and diversity. These scholarships apply to the flagship PGP, and most categories do not have a separate application window because scholarship review happens with admission.

Students can also take education loans through partner banks such as Axis Bank and Canara Bank. The interest rate range is 6.75% to 8.75%. Scholarship money is released only after a student has an active PGP admission offer. ISB does not give SC, ST, or OBC category-based fee concessions because it is a private institution outside the government fee regulation framework.

ISB Hyderabad Campus and Infrastructure

ISB Hyderabad has a 260-acre campus in Gachibowli, near Hyderabad's Hitec City technology corridor. The campus has Indian Green Building Council certification and was designed by architect Vikram Lall. PGP students live on campus during the programme year.

Important facilities at the Hyderabad campus include:

• Academic Centre: lecture halls, case study rooms, faculty offices, a learning resource centre, and a 400-seat auditorium
• Four student villages, with each village housing 130 to 210 students
• Recreation Centre: swimming pool, tennis courts, indoor basketball court, gymnasium, football ground, badminton courts, squash courts, and table tennis
• On-campus housing as part of the PGP residential format

The Mohali campus opened in 2012 and was designed by Perkins Eastman Architects. It is Wi-Fi enabled and has research institutes such as the Max Institute of Healthcare Management and the Bharti Institute of Public Policy. ISB also has a Delhi presence for PGPpro. The Hyderabad campus is close to technology and pharmaceutical companies, which also shapes the institute's recruiter base.

ISB Hyderabad, IIM Ahmedabad, and IIM Bangalore are often compared by students who want top management education in India. They differ in course length, admission exams, batch profile, fees, and ranking systems.

ISB has stronger international ranking visibility and is the only Indian institution in the FT Global MBA top 15. IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore hold top NIRF positions and follow CAT-based admissions. ISB suits working professionals who want a one-year MBA-equivalent format and wider global recruiter access. The IIMs are better aligned with fresh graduates and early-career students who want a two-year programme and a deep domestic alumni network.
