MSRIM Postgraduate Admission: PGDM

The PGDM is MSRIM's flagship two-year management programme. Its AICTE-approved intake of 300 seats for 2026-27 remains unchanged from 300 seats in 2025-26. AIU recognises the AICTE-approved, NBA-accredited qualification as equivalent to an MBA; MSRIM does not offer a university MBA.

The institute does not list a management quota admission route. All applicants follow the application, presentation, group discussion and interview process. AICTE has approved neither an NRI quota nor an international student quota for 2026-27. Admission through lateral entry or transfer is unavailable, including entry into a later PGDM semester.

PGDM Application Procedure

1. Register on the MSRIM admissions portal using an active email address and mobile number.
2. Verify the email address carefully, since it cannot be changed later.
3. Complete the application form and upload the requested documents.
4. Pay the INR 1,000 application fee online.

PGDM Shortlisting and Final Selection

Selection considers the academic record, presentation and interview together rather than relying solely on an entrance percentile cutoff. The admissions panel makes the final decision.

1. Submit the online application and pay the application fee.
2. Upload a PowerPoint presentation describing academic background, achievements and career goals.
3. Shortlisted applicants receive an interview invitation by email.
4. Attend a group discussion followed by a personal interview.
5. Accept the offer letter and complete the enrolment formalities.

Interviews are conducted either online or on campus. Faculty members and industry experts participate in the interview panel.

One student account describes applying with a 90 percentile MAT score. The student first made a telephone enquiry, registered online and then attended a Skype interview. After selection, the student paid the registration fee of INR 50,000.

Another student account describes applying with a MAT score, after which MSRIM updated the application and scheduled an interview. The account notes that interviews may take place in person or online.

PGDM Withdrawal and Refund Policy

The stated refund window has closed. MSRIM permitted withdrawal refunds only before June 23, 2026, with a deduction of INR 1,000, under its published policy referring to AICTE guidelines. MSRIM Doctoral Admission: FPM

The Fellow Programme in Management is MSRIM's full-time residential doctoral programme. It has 10 AICTE-approved seats for 2026-27 and AIU recognition as equivalent to a PhD. FPM Academic Eligibility

Applicants must satisfy an accepted qualification route and the additional admission requirements. Meeting the minimum marks alone does not establish eligibility.

FPM Application Procedure

1. Complete the online application through the MSRIM admissions portal.
2. Provide a correct, active email address and mobile number.
3. Upload scanned copies of all documents requested in the form.
4. Include employment history, references and academic achievements.
5. Attach the statement of purpose and entrance test score details.
6. Identify a primary and a secondary research area.

The research areas include Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Strategy and Healthcare Management. Providing false information can lead to expulsion, including after admission has been granted.

FPM Selection Procedure

The respective research areas shortlist applicants using their application forms. Selection then involves document verification, a research presentation and an interview.
