Student Review on SDMIMD Mysore

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is very well qualified and educated. They are up to date about the recent trends related to the subject and brings in case studies and live examples for an interactive sessikn with the students.

Remarks:

A interview was conducted for the selection process and it was online. No group discussions was part of selection process. I wrote MAT entrance exam for admission and the cutoff was around 80%. The process was smooth.

SDMIMD college review- a good college for aspiring managers

What I Liked

the infrastructure of the college is very great, it has introduced AI in classrooms for providing notes and quizzes for students.
The faculty is also well trained and equipped with the knowledge to teach the students.

What I didn’t like

the college has strict rules for girls as they cannot go out after 8 pm and all the students have to return to hostel by 11 pm.
the college does not have ev charging points, although they said it will be implemented soon

Placement Experience:

The college provides 100% placements for all eligible students. A few companies that visit the college are Loreal, Capgemini, Infosys and others. The highest package is around 15 lakhs and the average package is 9 lakhs.

Remarks:

For admission to this college, I had an application shortlisting and personal interview. Personal interviews contained fundamental questions and were conducted in offline mode. The cut off was above 50% for a degree and a valid entrance exam score.

My campus life and a review

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good with lot of greenary. The air is pure and it will feel like you are in a resort.

Placement Experience:

Have to maintain atleast 2.2 gpa to qualify for placements. Lot of companies visits like Infosys, Wipro, TTK prestige, Lo real etc., highest is 14.5lpa and lowest is 5 lpa. Almost everyone will be placed exceptions will be there. I am planning to do my job well and rise in career.

Remarks:

Placement record and heard good things about college. Mat exam, 70 cutoff, gave PI. I didn't prepare much for any exam I was good at aptitude so I scored well in MAT without any preparation. Then I applied for couple of college in which I got seats in all but I went with SDMIMD as I heard good things from people around me as well the alumni.
