SDM Institute of Management Development or SDMIMD was established in 1993 in Mysore. It offers PGDM, FDP, and PhD courses. It is recognized by AICTE, accredited by the NBA, and is a member of AACSB. SDMIMD is promoted by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Trust. In 2025, SDMIMD Ranking by Outlook was 16th out of 200 management colleges.

SDMIMD offers PGDM as its flagship course. To be eligible for admission, candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th, and graduation from a recognized board or university. The final selection will be based on the CAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, ATMA & MAT exam scores. This will be followed by a Personal Interview. SDMIMD Cutoff for CAT 2024 for General Category PGDM admission was 60 percentile, and MAT 2024 cutoff was 70 percentile. SDMIMD offers this as a 2-year fully residential program, with a total fee of INR 14.10 lakhs. The application deadline for SDMIMD is 28th February 2025, and the application fee is Rs. 1,200.

SDMIMD Placements 2024 concluded with the highest package being INR 15.25 LPA, and the average package stood at INR 10 LPA. The students have been placed in varied roles such as Management Trainee, Consultant, Business Analyst, Credit, etc. Some of the recruiters include Infosys, Wipro, Schnieder Electric, Oracle, Infosys BPM, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, TTK Prestige, Loreal, Federal Bank, Ujjivan SFB, etc.
