A 3year review at VKCET

What I Liked

Campus life is very enjoyable..with many events and celebrations conducted.
Many sports tournaments and championships are conducted which enhances extra curricular skills of students

What I didn’t like

Poor Infrastructure, both buildings are very distant
No elevator in buildings, hard to reach top

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered in our College..companies like L&T, Mahindra, TCS have conducted Placement drives in our campus. Many students get placed at MNCs from placements conducted. Companies also hire students with few arrears.

Remarks:

The most important factor that made me choose this college was that it is very convenient for me to reach the college from my house. The distance between my home and college is less than 10 Kilometers. I didn't face any major interviews while taking admission..only a single interview was held which consisted of only one faculty and myself. There were no written tests done during admission. The questions where very basic and on point.(Eg. Why I chose this course?, what factors lead to choosing this college? etc).

Course Curriculum Overview:

In computer science that I have joined, probably it's a very tough course but our faculty and infrastructure are very calm and adaptive. They provide weekly class test for ensuring that we are going in the right root overall it is best

Remarks:

My bestfriend sumith suggest this college. His brother studied in this collage and got placed in a reputed company in Switzerland and it is an American company.Now iam looking for such opportunities for building my future

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a Great intrest I'm coding that is why I choose this course. I had crazy interest in web development. My dream is to become an designer and I am chasing my dream. The course was a difficult one but I really enjoying it.

Remarks:

The college should provide better placements. In this locality our is collage famous for coding classes. The college provide better and high level coding classes for students other than syllabus studies. The has huge festival programs which also impressed me for joining the college. It is easy to travel from my location to the college which also attracted me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason for choosing this course is I have intrest in coding and web developing so I think it is better to choose computer science for developing my coding skills.The college faculties also provide us many coding glass instead of syllabus studies.They give more 5 coding class for improving coding skills and provide many workshops for improving our skills

Remarks:

I heard vkcet provide good quality education and placements .The college has better results in past years. I think this is good choice for my btech engineering. The got the admission through keam examination.The also provide fees reduction for merit seat students.

A review for VKCET college Parippally

What I Liked

Campus life is ok.Faculties are very supportive and quality education. Also we have some extracurricular activities done by different clubs almost every month.

What I didn’t like

Campus is small and college is some strict. Sport activities are less in college compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it has more job opportunities in future. I know its a tough course but the faculties are supportive. Most faculties have good qualification and knows how to teach effectively. But the problem is sometimes even sem classes are less compared to the odd sem. So a small struggle experience in even sem exams.

Remarks:

My friends told me about this college. So i joined. They are also studying in this college now. There isn't any group discussions, interviews or written tests for admission. Even students who didn't write entrance exams and got low marks in 12th board exam can take admission in this college.

The college life in my college (vkcet)

What I Liked

Good infrastructure with pleasant atmosphere
Good faculites and offers a good college life

What I didn’t like

College hostel and hostel food is below average
There is no cafeteria or good hangout places inside the college

Placement Experience:

The placement service in the college is average But compared to the colleges near our college our college provide good placement support Axis Bank Ust and other top mnc from technopark are the top recruiters

Remarks:

The factors made me to choose this college it is near my home so I can go easily to the college Yes I had face written test and interview during admission processing in this college is very easy In my opinion we didn't want to prepare for the interview

VKCET and its interesting Backgrounds

What I Liked

Our college provides many faclities including recreation activities as a gym. The collefe infrastructure us very good and efficient.. Tgere are separate restrooms and washrooms for every batches.
Our college has got a big playground wehee we play cricket and football.. Also hosting championship between different year students

What I didn’t like

Lift facility is not available which is a burden since 4 story buildings is very hard to climb stairs
Each blocks are situated too far from each otger.. For granting permission and approvals.. Its quite hard to reach blocks

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered by high companies like Mahindra, UST global and many more. The percentage if students getting placements are however quite low since passing crieterias are strict. But the studnet eligibility percentage has hotten high since last years

Remarks:

The factors that made me choose this college primarily is the distance ..it is situated approximately 10km away from my home, which is quite convenient and hassle free for me. Classes start at 9:00AM and it only takes 18minutes to reach the college. In case of ny emergency situations i can reach my home in time. Then the college is situated near the cuty which makes transportation and availability of equipments for study easily available.
