B.Tech Admission

General Category applicants need at least 45 percent combined marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. The minimum is 40 percent for SC and ST applicants. Every applicant must also have passed English. TS EAMCET, conducted under TSCHE, is used for admission to convener quota seats.

  1. Qualify for TS EAMCET after meeting the 10+2 eligibility conditions.
  2. Register for the online TSCHE web counselling process.
  3. Enter the preferred colleges and programmes during choice filling.
  4. Check the seat allotment issued through counselling.
  5. Report to VITS Hyderabad and complete document verification after receiving a seat.

TSCHE holds web counselling in several phases. Students seeking management quota seats can approach the institute directly after the counselling process.

B.Tech Lateral Entry

Students with an engineering diploma may apply for direct admission to the second year through TS ECET, the Engineering Common Entrance Test. Applicants must have secured at least 45 percent in the diploma. TSCHE conducts a separate counselling process for lateral entry seats after announcing the TS ECET results.

M.Tech Admission

M.Tech applicants need a relevant BE or B.Tech degree with at least 50 percent aggregate marks for the General Category. Convener quota selection uses GATE or TS PGECET scores and is completed through TSCHE PG counselling. For management quota seats, VITS may use academic merit or an institutional test and manages admission directly.

VITS Hyderabad Cutoffs

TS EAMCET closing ranks depend on the counselling year, applicant category and number of available seats. In recent counselling cycles, the General Category closing-rank range for B.Tech CSE at VITS Hyderabad has made the programme an option for mid-range TS EAMCET scorers in the Hyderabad region.
