The TS EAPCET rank is calculated based on the normalization process, which ensures fairness in marks distribution when the exam is conducted in multiple sessions with varying difficulty levels. The rank is derived from the normalized score, which is calculated, using the formula.
As of recent years, the TS EAMCET rank is based only on EAMCET marks (100%), without considering intermediate board exam scores.
A 1 lakh rank in TS EAMCET is considered a moderate-to-low rank and may limit options for top engineering colleges. However, students can still secure admission in private engineering colleges and newly established institutes in Telangana.
