I am Rupam Chakraborty currently studying in Asansol Polytechnic in the 1st year and pursuing Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering. To get admission in this college u have to give JEXPO or VOCLET exam , if ur in class 10 u can give Jexpo and if u are in class 12 u can give both . U have score minimum 60 % in board to give these exams. The exam comparatively easier. U have to get around 1500-3000 to get Metallurgy. This college provides many course options for the students.

The admission process is through Jexpo-Voclet exam conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. The cut off of our college us likely 700. There are total 30+ rooms in our college. Our college have library, Practical labs etc.

Few teachers are not friendly. Only few classes taken by sirs . Admission process - first of all go to 'wbscte' website and regestration your madhyamik or h.s and personal details . Then select your college and department.. merit list will come and if you selected any college, so you can join.

An entrance exam name Jexpo is to be given by the students to get admission in this course then rank will be out then counciling will be done 1st counciling 2nd and 3rd then open councilling will be done then admission will be done

Asansol polytechnic is one of the best government colleges in west bengal. In this college the campus is very big and the faculty members in our branch are very helpful. To take admission in diploma their is a exam who's name is jexpo exam and cutoff above 90%. To prepare for this exam there is a book of bhagbati prakashan, this book is very helpful for clearing this entrance exam.

This college is famous and I will choose the cause of placement so this college is too good for teaching by professors. Year by year passed very quickly. The study was too hard and the paper was too hard for students.
